Troy Burgers #8 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

April 29, 2022, ordered breakfast plater and later that day ordered chicken plate. Was impress by the price and large portions. As a Senior that doesn't eat much and on a budget, I was able to eat half and save the leftovers for the next day. May 1, ordered the same breakfast and was disappointed by the much smaller portions. Later that day ordered the same Chicken plate. As the employees handed my plate, the size of all 4 chicken were extremely small and alot less fries. I asked the employee why and she replied that's how they are in the bag. Next day met with the owner and relay my concerns and showed him the small portion that I didn't eat. Owner told me, that's the size of small chicken beinging sent. Prices going up and portions are going down. On a budget this will not work for me. Same amount of money I spent for these 2 meals, I will instead go buy food at market and have more food to eat. Owner didn't offer a replacement with larger portions or money back. In today's visit we dined in and had brunch. I had a small serving of chili cheese fries and a large pepsi and the wife got the chicken plate with pico de gallo and rice and beans with your choice of flour or corn tortillas, the wife went with corn and to drink she got a Horchata.

The food was pretty inexpensive for me vs other places ive tried getting the same meals. I loved how polite the cashier and the other co workers were to us, they made us feel very welcomed.

The food was very delicious, i enjoyed my meal and my wife enjoyed her's.

We will definitely be back again, next time im trying a regular breakfast.

Since we went in the morning before 10am there was plenty of parking in the parking lot at the time of the visit.

We really enjoyed our time here and cant wait to come back another day, we may even make this spot our go to spot for dining in. I give them a Solid 5 stars...

Troy's is a definite must try! The food is always great & the staff is always going above and beyond to make you feel at home. My go to is always the chili cheese fries. Of course I've had other things such as carne asada burritos, grilled cheese sandwich, chicken tenders & so on but man thise chili cheese fries highly addictive. So much so that I've been a consumer of theirs since 2006. The chili the cheese & the fry ratio are all equal, as well as generous. So if you're counting calories or watching what you eat you might want to stay away from these fries 😉 but I love them. Other places you get more of one thing & in my personal experience many times chili cheese fries are usually lacking in cheese but not at Troy's. They are the best!! I highly recommend you give...
