Viva Tacos La Estrella — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've passed by this place enough times that my curiosity finally got the better of me, so I finally stopped in after a film class for a burrito--carne asada, super, with chips and a bottle of Mexican Coke. Little under $9 after tax for the whole thing, which was cool because that same order at Chipotle or El Balazo would set me back $12-$13. The steak was lovely, very tender with a little smoke in the flavor. They put in a little too much sour cream, though, so I felt lucky to taste anything other than dairy. But it's a good counterbalance if you decide to check out their salsa bar and go with one of the hotter options, like the Nuclear (which will clear out your sinuses in record time). Their chips are really good, too--just the right amount of salt, more than thick enough to hold a large dollop of salsa. Overall? Terrible service. I ordered asada fries and some tacos. The lady two orders after me got asada fries, tacos and two torta meals and somehow got her food 10 minutes before I did. I then saw them start to prepare mine. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and not claim it was an obviously racial thing... Wouldn't have been such a big deal, buuuuut I specifically asked them to remove jalapeños, chile or anything spicy. I got spicy as bleep tacos and check the pic for what my asada fries looked like when I opened them. I've been coming here for a while and normally very polite it is a bit expensive but always worth it what I don't like is the attitude of the cashiers and how stingy they are I spend 30 dollars on two things and ask for a bit of extra salsa and with an attitude says I already gave you and I said I'd like some more please and goes off saying I gave you 3 red and 3 green I said I don't mind paying for more im asking you for more salsa what sucks is I spend alot of money id expect a bit more salsa and a more pleasant experience when ordering ..idk if ill be...
