Wong's Wok Silver Lake — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I used to be a frequent customer at this fast food restaurant because I loved their food !!! NOT Anymore after today because their food quality and taste really went down a Lot, I don’t know what it is maybe they changed their Chef .... but the food had absolutely NO TASTE !!!

I had ordered a 3 entree combo which includes rice and noodles, teriyaki chicken, salt n pepper fish n a mushroom chicken but everything taste very BLAND !!! The teriyaki chicken has no taste because they don’t even bother to put some salt in it and the employee didn’t add any teriyaki sauce for me, then the same thing with the salt n peppered fish, it has absolutely NO TASTE and I don’t taste any salt n pepper at all, the batter is thick n hard that it was hard to chew !!! Rice n noodles also has no taste, i can honestly say that whatever we made at home taste a-lot better !!! So I don’t know HOW and WHY someone who cooks like that would deserve to be called a chef n get paid for making lousy n way below Average kind of food !!! The customer service here is so rude. The food is bland and tastes like they just throw it together not caring about what it tastes like.

In my last experience here, I dined in. The Cook was on break sitting at a table and was watching me as I was ordering. I noticed he was looking me up and down which was so gross. When I got to the register, I clicked receipt print, because I wanted my receipt.

Mistakenly, this caused the receipt to print from the previous customer. The lady serving me yelled at me and kept saying, you didn't buy that food, it isn't your receipt. Stop wasting receipt paper. Once my receipt came out and printed, she was petty and said here this is yours, you paid for this food only. This isn't how you treat customers, the environment is dingy with flies and weird bugs flying around in your food, and the workers are just miserable people. Don't waste your time...

Tried this place for the first time. The location and over all restaurant is really nice. The food on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired and is pricy. I feel like the people who are giving this place high ratings haven’t experienced good Chinese food spots. The food was bland. The orange chicken was basically stale and hard to chew. My husband got the teriyaki chicken and they did not offer any teriyaki sauce. The chicken was bland and gelatinous leaving a bad after taste. The chow mein was very disappointing. The rice was stale and crunchy. Just because the restaurant looks nice doesn’t mean the food is good. There are so many great Chinese food spots in the area, this one...
