Our visits to Dar Restaurant and Bar for both lunch and dinner were truly remarkable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a blend of elegant and cozy decor that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service that made us feel special from the moment we walked in.

For dinner, we savored the Mediterranean Trio, the exceptionally cooked Date Chermoula Kufta, and the subtly flavored Soup Du Dar. The Pomegranate Braised Lamb Shank and Moroccan Sea Bream were both exquisite, showcasing the chef’s culinary prowess, while the Harissa Potatoes added a delightful spicy kick.

Lunch was equally delightful with the consistently delicious Lamb Riblets, the flavorful Zahra, and our favorite, the Haloumi Salad. Dining at Dar Mediterranean is an exceptional experience! The food here is phenomenal, bursting with flavors in every bite. Their trio dip, butternut squash, and lentil soups are perfect starters, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal.

For the main course, the dry-aged steak and chicken are top choices. The steak, ordered rare to enhance the dry-aged qualities, is exquisite, while the chicken is perfectly prepared and delicious.

The service at Dar is outstanding. The staff is welcoming and attentive, they have the perfect balance between being helpful and giving diners space, making the experience feel genuinely personable.

In the summer, dining on their patio is a must. With shaded areas and heaters for cooler times, it provides a comfortable and uncrowded outdoor setting. The interior is cozy and intimate, adding to the charm of the restaurant.

New owner and new chef for this welcomed old schooled fine dining service, addition to downtown Los Gatos. Took my queen out and did the romantic weekday dinner thing: Sunset - Redwood trees - Candlelight - Dessert

Menu was original and well laid out, we found many entrees to agree on. Fresh pita with three homemade dips - Roasted Chicken entree - Keylime Pie. Food was fantastic, served piping hot, chicken was seasoned throughout, deboned, and had a crispy harden skin. Service was very attentive with the old school vibe.

Drink menu was awesome with all fresh ingredients and homemade syrups.
