Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Los Lunas

I ordered a small ice cream cake for my son's birthday and 54 cupcakes to serve at his party. The cake was done to all specifications and we were happy with it. The cupcakes on the other hand were not done to standards set on their own menu and web site. There was no cake in the cupcakes, the filling was missing and instead of frosting, it was replaced with whipped cream, which started to immediately melt upon removal from the freezer. I contacted the store the very next day to speak with a manager and was asked to leave a message and someone would get back to me. Three days later I had no contact from anyone, so I went in myself and no manager was available, but a message was taken and the employee agreed that the cupcakes were not made correctly. I attempted to go in again yesterday and a big surprise that the managers were not in, so I left another message. 18 days have passed and still no attempt to contact me from anyone at all. It is disappointing that the owners chose to run their business in this manner. If the employees knew the cupcakes could not be made the way they are intended to be made, I should have been contacted and let to make the decision if I wanted them or not. I would have ordered a bigger cake and avoid this entire mess. Very disappointed in the quality and professionalism of this...

Last night, my mom and I decided to stop for ice cream as a treat for my birthday weekend. I have fond memories of this place from my childhood, but because of teenage workers not knowing how to explain the procedures and do their job properly, I was left with a below-average customer experience.

I asked for two flavors, one was "Birthday Cake Remix", the other was "Mint Mint Chocolate Chip". I did not get all the ice cream I wanted and I left unsatisfied with my experience. This store needs workers that are better trained in how to deal with customer service.

As for why I didn't get both flavors, the girls couldn't explain why I was restricted to only one "signature flavor" and ended up choosing strawberry as my #2 option. My mom and I were frustrated with the ordering process, and I could tell the couple in line behind us were not happy with the way they were being...

On July 16 I visited my local Coldstream store.i asked to see the ice cream cupcakes for the birthday the next day. I was told they didn't any left but a girl would be in that night to make some. The next day July 17th I went to the same shop and was told by the employee that no cupcakes were made the previous night. Even though the employee, admittedly said she was new but would try to make them herself. She was the only one working and she tried to serve customers and help me. She finally decided she wouldn't be able to do this. I had to get something, so I ended up buying a cake for $23. I only intended to spend the $9.99 for six cupcakes. The girl tried as i said she was new and I appreciate that but I was very disappointed that I had been promised and was counting on a purchase which I couldn't make.
