I recently bought 14 gift cards for $7 each, four gifts for people, who have been particularly kind and understanding, that being said, I can no longer drink Starbucks coffee, about a year ago, the announce, that they were adding an oil, to enhance the flavor, of beans, that were sold at Costco wholesale, I bought, bought a large bag and had the beans grown, and got very sick, I suspected, that the oil that they used, was cotton seed oil,. Later I went to a Costco location, and received, the coffee that I paid for plus a complimentary cup, and immediately I also got very sick, there is no doubt about it.. Starbucks is now using, cottonseed oil, yes, it may encourage the richness, as they coat the beans, but it also increases their profitability, if you think about it, if they add one or 2 oz, of very cheap cottonseed oil which is normally fed to the pigs, the end result is the increase their profits by millions of dollars, ;, I've reported this to Starbucks, multiple times, and have never seen, nor received any follow-up, so if you end up with diarrhea, intestinal upset, you may be sensitive to cottonseed oil, which appears to be part of their formula. Now. they do not disclose this on the bag, therefore the they're probably in violation, of certain statutes associated with Yelp adulteration of a food product, I cannot say, but I can tell you, that I've had the same experience, and many other locations, cottonseed oil is often used in margarine's, and as a substitute for butter, and often in lower grade pizzas, they take a large quantity of cottonseed oil, and then adulterate it, with a small amount of olive oil, the oil generally to the palate taste identically the same, but it's been my experience, I am highly sensitive and allergic to this particular oil which is made by the squeezing of the cottonseed, which is removed, by the cotton gin process, and in years past they used to feed this to the pigs, now they feed it to human beings,; so beware, if you have food allergies, and you find out that you're getting sick, on a regular and reoccurring basis, you may be allergic to cotton seed oil, which is not disclosed, on any of the formulations associated with Starbucks coffee, yes, and I still give, hundreds of dollars worth of Starbucks coupons away to where the individuals who have been kind, August...
Read moreUpdate: Someone from Starbucks reached out to me, apologized offered us 2 free drinks, not a gift card for 2 drinks, we have to go to a specific Starbucks and say we talked to Jason! What? Unacceptable! **I went here to this location 2242 Main Street, Los Lunas, NM 87031, not the one located in the Albertson's store, the HWY 47 NE one by Smith's, WOW!! 🤬 🤬 If I could give this Starbucks a negative 10 I would! Talk about horrible service, I took my son who is disabled, his name is Jonathan, he ordered a frozen pineapple drink, so these kids working there aren't calling anyone's names out or orders out, just sitting them on the counter, Jonathan sees a drink with the name Jonathan on it and it's a frozen pineapple drink, coincidence?? Maybe? But he naturally picks it up and begins drinking it, then they say that's not his drink, I say,"How was he supposed to know that? It's a pineapple drink with the name Jonathan on it, the little girls behind the counter take the drink set it on the counter and it's just going to sit there and go to waste, so I say," Why can't he just keep that drink since he's already started drinking it?, the little rude girl says," nope not allowed"! Very rudely, she turns her back starts making faces and commenting to the other little girls behind the counter, finally my drink comes up, the guy very rudely says my drink, while Jonathan is still waiting for his drink to be made and ordered before me!! I hate this Starbucks, these kids act like this is such a hard job! There were like 10 of them working and acting like they were doing really hard work! It's making drinks for crying out loud!! 🤬 And there were a ton of employees working. Damn! I don't recommend this Starbucks at all. There is another Starbucks in Los Lunas, NM at the other end of town, by the Home Depot, they are much friendlier, and professional! For nearly $10.00 a drink! This Starbucks manager needs to clean house with their rude, unprofessional kids working there! I won't go back. I plan on complaining to management but not in house there, because the manager there is probably a kid too. I'm going to contact corporate and see if I have any luck! Shame on them for treating my disabled son this way! Unforgivable!!!! And...
Read moreI normally don't write reviews but the poor service at this Starbucks warrants one. This morning was the third time I've placed an order and left with nothing.
The first time was back when they replaced their sign in the drive through. Not knowing that a new sign and speaker was installed further out than the original sign, I waited at the "old sign" and after my order wasn't taken after 5 minutes I proceeded to the window. I explained to the cashier that I didn't see the newer sign and the old sign was still lit up. I asked for my normal order and the cashier rudely told me I had to go back through the drive through. Needless to say I left very discouraged.
The second time i placed my order and after waiting 10 minutes in the drive through the cashier told me that my order was given to the car in front of me. I told her I would wait for my order but she said because they were to busy that I needed to re-order my drinks and pull back through the drive through. I left again very discouraged.
The third time was this morning. After ordering several drinks and sandwiches for a total of $18.63 the cashier told us that she wouldn't take a $50 bill. I left again and vowed to never go back.
The cashier on all 3 of these issues has been the lady with all the tattoos.
I'm really excited about the news of a Dunkin Donuts coming to Los Lunas. Valencia county deserves a morning coffee spot that appreciates...
