By far one of the worse dining experiences I have had.
I knew there were going to be problems when the server approached our table with the attitude of "Iam here, what do you want". There was no greeting, no welcome, as he slouched on the back of the booth he said "what do you want"
The second red flag was that he didnt write anything down. (I was surprised there was only one problem)
The problem was the kid burger, which was ordered "meat, bread, and ketchup only. (I later learned that the kitchen doesn't put ketchup on their burgers, which would explain why the server brought a bottle to the table) well, the burger came out with cheese on it. I immediately sent it back, the plate didnt even hit the table. (At this time the table next to us was sat)
The other 4 people at the table continued eating while waiting for the recook burger. After 20 minutes, everyone had finished their food the table behind us had ordered and recieved their food and the re-cook kid burger had not arrived yet. (The server saw the problem and had to insist the "manager" approach the table, he did. I asked for fries, they were delivered)
When the burger came out, by a runner, the server stopped the runner with the plate, in a wait station to take the lettuce off, WITH the manager. THEN the manager brought the burger to the table... and said he was going to take it off the bill. I told him that I already knew that was going to happen and said I dont think I should have to pay for my burger either, for the inconvenience of wating this long for my daughters food. When he asked if there was anything wrong with my burger I said no, there wasn't, then he said "well, than you're paying for it". Ok, he could have been nicer about it...
Well the recook, the one that they took the leaf of lettuce off of in the waiter station still had tomatoes and pickles on it. I brought the plate to the manager, in the wait station and showed him, he said "what's the problem"? Unbelievable!
My daughter didnt eat. The server brought the checks, my burger was discounted. When asked to speak to the manager he did not come out of the kitchen. Coward.
I will continue to tell everyone I know of this horrible experience.
In closing, the server did a decent job. I still tipped him despite his poor attitude. With the problems we had he still maintained the table (and his other...
Read morevisited (2-14-25) really bad night to go, i understand. i work food service so i get it completely, busy night, "needy customers", the full nine yards. i was giving this place the benefit of the doubt, being extremely patient, we walked in, was told it was a 35 minute wait, we sat & waited & watched the host seat families first before couples, i'm unsure of the order of the people who came in before us but two families came in after us & was seated before us, host told us they were going to seat the families first & then seat us & came back after seating them to say they're not going to seat anyone for another 30 minutes due to the kitchen being backed up, we sat & we waited, 30-40 minutes go by & we finally get a table, the server greets us & takes our drink & appetizer order & a table behind, in front & next to us get seated in that order & the server takes the table behind us, the table in front of us after & the table next to ours food order & completely walks past our table, we sat & waited for another 20-30 minutes to get our food order taken, we still had our menus which is a que we haven't had our food order taken & the server is no where to be found, my fiance gets up to ask for service & the manager takes our food order, we wait & get the food & decide we want to take our food to go & we wait another 20 minutes for our server, still no contact, my fiance gets up again & the manager comes back with our check & boxes & we wait AGAIN for our server to take our payment. i get being a little frazzled during a busy night but our server did not speak to us after taking our drink & appetizer order, as someone who works in food service, i don't understand how you forget a table you walk past everytime to take someone else's order. we weren't expecting to be comped, we weren't expecting stellar service on a busy night, we just wanted to be serviced like everyone else was who got...
Read moreToday was the most horrific experience we had in this restaurant. I didn't want to leave a review like this but I feel it is important for others to read it. I really hope management can read this also. We got to the restaurant after a long day of walking and having a good time, we had many choices but our kids wanted to go there because they love the yogurt with strawberries, so we decided and went. We sat down at our table, we waited for at least 15 min or more to be served, at least 3 servers passed by our table and they didn't have the common sense to ask if we were helped already, specially one specific girl, she went by us at least 10 times and I am 100% sure that she was supposed to help us, she avoided us the whole time, she was obnoxious, loud, flirtatious with some guys, very disrespectful and we were glad she didn't helped us, she was trying too hard to be cute with costumers, it didn't suit her. I wish I knew her name. The only things that I remember that she was the only server that spoke spanish. I totally understand how is it to work in the food industry, been there, so I understand how overwhelming it is sometimes, but I feel like no matter what, no excuses are allowed. We were supposed to finish our day with a great ending, with great food and service, obviously it didn't happened. Was an uncomfortable and unfortunate experience. I really hope this girl can read this and learn. But aside of all this negativity, I wanna thank the manager who apologized and also Amber, she was not supposed to helped us but she kindly did and did an awesome job, please have more like her and none like that specific girl I mentioned or at least give more training. Thank you, we enjoyed it while it lasted.
P.S: Sorry for my spelling, I'm writing this tired and falling asleep, but wanted to write the review...
