Food: mozzarella sticks, were good. Didn’t order anything else. I had eaten prior. Drinks: very good, i had a peach mango margarita, frozen. Service: Moe was so rude. Didn’t even acknowledge me when I first came in and acted like I was bothering him when he finally arrived at the front desk. I told him that I had a reservation at 1030, it was about 1025 when he came over and then he shooed me to the corner and told me to wait in a corner. 1038, I walked back to the desk and when he came back over he asked very rudely what I needed. I asked when I would be seated (6+ people had left) and they were not busy at all. I asked when I’d be seated and he said 30 minutes. So I asked why 30 min if it’s just me and a lot of people had just left and there were a lot of empty tables. He said to wait at the bar. I had no idea where the bar was because it is not visible from the front desk. So i proceed around the corner, one of the waitresses directed me to the bar. And I asked what his problem was, apparently he had been having a bad night. Not my problem. It’s my first time here and I had no prior interaction with him. The bartender was nice and just when I was about to order he came and said my table was ready and left. Didn’t wait for me to get up. He slams down a menu and silverware. Melanie was great and so was the other waitress. If it wasn’t for them, I would have left and this place would get 1 star. I observed him seat every other person after me right away and check on every table except mine. If you’re having a bad night, get someone else to cover for you. You are the first person people see and first impressions count. This is your business and people come to spend money. I found this place on TikTok and I was visiting from out of town. Will not be back next time I’m visiting. Apparently Moe had been being rude to a lot of customers before me as well. Maybe Moe needs to sit down and meditate and take a chill pill...

Decided to visit this establishment yesterday. Surprised to see a hookah spot in the Metairie are. The place looks beautiful, but there are many of subpar elements. The drinks were delicious, some of the food was delicious. I did enjoy the hookah. Unfortunately, the music was not something I expected in a lounge. There was no mix of different types of music, and it appeared that the owner was only interested in playing a YouTube video of an Arabic DJ. Our waitress last night even commented that her energy was lacking because the music was not anything that encouraged fun and excitement.

I decided to visit again today with some friends. The music was still the same selection: the YouTube Arabic DJ. When we wanted to speak with the owner, he was not interested in talking with the ONLY customers in his establishment at the time. It was laughable, no one else was visiting and he was too "busy" to speak to guests. lam not sure the vibe this place is going for, but seems that they are not interested in listening to customer feedback.

Unfortunately, if you aren't able to receive constructive feedback, how do you expect to run a successful business.

I don't think I'II be visiting again! Hope this helps someone else.

Come to Mazaj instead! It’s in Kenner! Service is great and...

First time going last night with a group of friends … let’s start with the positive…THE PLACE IS GORGEOUS !!!! Love the upscale classy look it has … I can tell a lot was invested into that place . I love that the owner is around and there for when a customer wants to see him or needs him . I had a problem with my drink…. He fixed it … THE LAMB CHOPS I had top tier … highly recommended. I wanted to order some to go lol … I didn’t try anything else and here’s why … let’s get to the negative … it must be a new bartender… or must be training because my 5 year old could make better drinks than that . We waited literally 45 mins for 2 drinks . 20 minutes into that 45 minute wait I got tired of waiting on a drink so ordered 2 shots … big mistake … I ain’t get those until I was damn near leaving .. the hookah was good … no complaints there . The music 4/10 … the prices 6.5/10 … not bad I just feel for what you get you’re paying a lot it’s a mixed crowd so they should read the room while playing music lol besides that I give this whole overall experience 7.9/10 and will probably be back again … afraid to order drinks nonetheless …. If you wanna support another POC you should try this place … it’s gorgeous in a good location good views...

The lamb chops: That's the sole reason I rated the food a 5. The veggies were decent. The rice was truthfully tasteless, undercooked, and visually unappealing, BUT THOSE CHOPS redeemed the entire plate. I wish they had this in an appetizer. The hummus also receives an honorable mention, but one may request no whole chickpeas in the hummus because they were undercooked as well. It's also worth noting a guest can't sub the rice for extra veggies or another side because the plate comes "prefixed" according to the waitress. Moral of the story: The 5 chops made up for an abundance of sins. Service: Polite, although a little preoccupied Cocktails: The blueberry mojito was pretty good. Ambiance: The place is absolutely chic and modern. I enjoyed the garden theme and it being located on the 2nd floor. The place was immaculate. Tables were well-appointed and set nicely, and the restrooms were clean and decorated. My only regret is I didn't get to try the hookah due to personal time constraints. Overall, I'd return just for the lamb chops and atmosphere.

I went to this place on Friday and we watched the Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul fight with my son and Friend. It started off very slow but then within the next 30 minutes the outside patio got very full and the service was A1. They had a lot of people floating around the room and I know they had one guy That had me cracking up because he was black descent, probably from the islands, but they were working very hard and working together as a team so it was much love and whatever we asked for whatever we need they went over and beyond for Hospitality and it’s a great place to come to in Baton Rouge. There are not a lot of places that I think people could go and mingle that has different ethnic backgrounds, but to be in the same room cheering up and supporting local businesses is A+.

I'm conflicted on this one for all the good reasons. It's such a great place for nailing high marks in all categories. It was a last minute suggestion, but going was the best decision made last night. What a great hookah bar and restaurant, with great staff! I want to recommend them, but a selfish part of me wants to keep it a not too crowded secret because of the perfect atmosphere, but know this secret is out and would expect a wait during peak times and not the late night, last minute, visit we enjoyed. If you like good food and drinks, and a nice dress to impress atmosphere, and enjoy smoking and hookahs, this is your new favorite, if it's not already your current favorite! Enjoy!
