Last night I went to this restaurant with my husband and I wish I could give zero stars. It was by far one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences we've ever had. We had a 10 minute wait when we got there although the restaurant wasn't full. We were the only ones waiting but I assumed they were possibly understaffed so that wasn't a problem. We were seated after about 10 minutes but we had an older gentleman who I think was not a server that took our order. After we received our food first round almost an hour passed and not a single soul came back to ask if we were ok, if the food was good-nothing. We were literally sitting there just looking at each other while customers were being seated and tended to, alot of whom came in after us. They got drinks got food but we were just sitting there. Someone finally came and grabbed a few of the dirty plates from the table. She left cane back and asked if we wanted to order anything else. I told her no we would take the check-I had lost my appetite at this point. We paid the check and for the first time my conscience did not convince me to leave a tip after getting poor service. The gentleman who first took our order had brought us the check but did not say a word to us. There was no thank you, no apology for the poor service. Needless to say, I'll NEVER go back here again. We usually go to the Korean House Restaurant that's right around the corner but decided to try something new. I'll stick to the evil I know. I'm not saying anyone had a bad attitude toward us but it was as though we weren't even there. They just walked by us back and forth tending to everyone else even though it was clear we were through with our first round and were waiting on someone to come take our order. If you're Korean you are very much welcomed there because other than myself and my husband I'd say 90% of the guests were Korean. They should make it known that it is a Korean only restaurant so ppl like myself can know not to go there and save myself the trouble and the embarrassment. I'm extremely...

If I could give 0 star, I would. Let me explain why.

We went there group of 5. Only 2 of us went there first and it was before lunch hour. (lunch they charge less than dinner) we sat down and asked waiter the other 3 will be here little late but we would like to order without them. waiter said no. the reason was all 5 has to be there at the same time due to time restrictions. we said it doesn’t matter, we will just start, and the waiter kept insisting to wait. we said we will start, and thats how our journey began in this unpleasant restaurant.

First of all, at most, you know for fact that in “all you can eat”, speed is the key. we ordered some beef brisket and the waiter ( claim to be the manager) came and put the gas level to 2. remember, it only goes up to 3 in this restaurant and it takes million years to cook one thin slice brisket if you put the fire lever in 2. i put on the 3, and the waiter kept coming back and adjust the level to 2. we have done this non stop adjusting for more than 30 times. he thinks that it was funny but it was rude and obnoxious. he made us think that it was against the fire code which adjusting fire level from 2 to 3 and it was just ridiculing us entire time.

Second, they were kept bringing orders that we didn’t order. we only order 2 orders of wings, which tasted terrible and they brought 5. i think they were trying to feed us with cheper menu so we wouldn’t order more.

At last, waiter was rude, owner didnt care, my recommendation to this restaurant is absolutely 0. don’t go there and ruin your day. please visit other restaurant and have them treat you...

I came in with a bigger group. We drove about 2 hour and 30 minutes. My sis in law lived 60 minutes away. We decided to eat dinner and visit there. We are a family that likes to travel to try different restaurants or food. My sis in laws traffic was bad on her end. But, she was 15 minutes away according to gps. When we arrived we were told we could not be seated till 2 more guest showed up. In her car was 3 children and herself. So we had no choice but to wait. Her 15 min was about 25 minutes with traffic. She felt bad and told us to just grab a table for just us and when she arrives she will sit at her own table. When notifying the host again. He went to ask if it would be okay to seat just us now. The host brought us to the big table and said you can seat there but if they don't show up we will have to move you. This was so awkward and such a weird way of treating your customers. All the big tables were empty and the building wasn't to busy I assure them she just right there. I have been on the phone with her the whole time. Anyhow I was frustrated in the beginning with how we were treated. My sis in law felt awful. After she arrived things began to calm down we kept the big table and finally was able to order drinks and food. The waiter was very kind and helpful. The food was good. The price was shocking $32.50 a person. Even for the kids. The building itself is nice. Overall I would've given a 3, but I gave a 4 because the food was good and our waiter guy was nice, attentive, and gave good...

Korean BBQ for dinner. I saw bad reviews on this place, most of it is due to price, and change of ownership, but we were so close to here, I decided to try it anyway. The place is spacious and clean, we were greeted right away. All you can eat dinner is $26.95, during lunch, you can also request to do the dinner menu instead if you want more variety. The options were limited, but everything we had were very well marinated and seasoned. I've always had issues with places lacking flavor, but this place doesn't lack in that department at all. It was slightly a hair too seasoned that you will need rice to accompany your meats. Korean ribs galbi were my favorite, meat was tender, marinade was delicious! Service was A+, our server was very attentive and suggested several things to us. Including cooking beef brisket with the marinated beef bulgogi so it mellows out the flavors just a little, it was perfect! Pros: They do half portions, which is awesome because you get to try a little bit of everything and not have to be stuck with a giant plate of that one meat. FYI: it's no longer called Gin, I just couldn't find Gangnam to tag them. Same location. I included the menu for y'all.

A Disappointing Experience at Gangnam Korean BBQ.. I recently visited Gangnam Korean BBQ with high hopes for a delightful Korean barbecue experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. From the moment I walked in, the service was lackluster. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leaving us waiting far too long for instruction and drinks. When we finally did get to the grilling part, things went from bad to worse. The grill was set to an uncomfortably high temperature, causing our meats to char almost immediately. Instead of the tender, juicy bites I expected, we were left with overcooked, dry pieces of meat that were far from enjoyable. As someone who was looking forward to trying Korean barbecue for the first time, this experience was far from what I imagined. The atmosphere was lacking, and the overall execution of the food was disappointing. In summary, I would rate this restaurant a solid 10 out of 10 for not meeting any of my expectations. If you’re new to Korean barbecue or just looking for a good meal, I would definitely recommend exploring other options. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Gangnam Korean BBQ.

I can't think of a single thing to knock this restaurant for. It's more than dinner: it's an actual experience. This was the first time I've been to a restaurant where you order pre-seasoned/uncooked food and you can cook it right at your table. It was actually fun! The food was delicious especially the Spicy Pork Belly, Head on Shrimp with Seasoning, and the Spicy Korean Chicken Wings. Drinks were $10 which isn't terrible especially since they tasted as if they were made well. The decor, wonderful service, and K Pop music videos on the televisions really helped to create a "Korean restaurant atmosphere" as well. $35 per person for an all you can eat experience felt like a bargain and we'll definitely be back! The only thing (and I don't knock them for it): there is a fee for unfinished food so don't go wild ordering the whole menu if you can't eat it all. We had a little unfinished food and weren't charged for it so I'm happy to say that it seems like they use discretion for this, but again I can see why it's been put in place just in case.
