Worst Starbucks I've been to in Baton Rouge. I arrived, sat at a table with my computer, made a phone call, then went up to the counter to order coffee and get some cookies. I stood in front of the cash register for about 5 minutes with all of the staff doing other things and only staring at me constantly as if I were out of place, as if they were wondering what I was doing in front of the cash register (er... I would like to order coffee, like everyone else who comes into a Starbucks?). Nobody cared to say "someone will be with you in a minute", or "I will take your order, give me a couple of seconds", nothing. It is very uncomfortable to have staff just staring at you from behind the counter with nobody caring to say anything or, much less, come up to the cash register to take my order. I stayed in this Starbucks for about 2.5 hrs. I heard one of the staff members tell a guy they closed at 8:30, so at 8:00 I went to the bathroom, I came out of the restroom at 8:04 and a staff member came up to me immediately, with a very bad attitude, to tell me that they were already closed. I told her that I had just heard someone else tell another customer that they closed at 8:30, that's why I hadn't left, but that I would leave immediately. She walked away from me without saying anything, like she was truly annoyed to talk to me. I left within 30 seconds and I will never come back. Also, this Starbucks was dirty and some of the power...
Read moreThe drinks were fine. The coffee tasted like coffee and the kids apparently liked their drinks too but this review isn't about that. It's about the slow, inaccurate service, and the poorly kept facilities. By far this was the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever had the privilege of visiting, it felt like a Waffle House you know the final product was going to be good but you couldn't help but feel dirty being there. The paint was chipping off the walls, the trash was neglected and the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been clean on a regular basis since the last time the Razorbacks were ranked ahead of LSU. While the drinks tasted good it took terribly long for orders to be taken and one of them was wrong. One of the kids asked for an iced version of the drink and they gave him a hot one. To conclude I was disappointed. I expect more from Starbucks. Just like I expect more out of my Razorbacks. But at the end of the day we still suck. Just wanted to let people know...
Read moreWent through the drive threw. First, the menu had fallen down out of the boxes holding it up so better know what they offer so you can order. Then, I had ordered decaf and they were out of decaf beans at 10:30am on a Sunday morning. It was a very long wait of about 5-10min to get to the drive threw window to have her say the register at the window wasn't working so please come in to pay. What!? So I went in to pay and when I got inside the coffee wasn't ready yet and to top it off the girl that told me to come inside to pay said,"oh I'm sorry I just found out you could have paid at the window." Are you kidding me? And of course there was no discount or offer for my inconvenience. To top it off all I ordered was two coffees and the order was wrong. Starbucks is high priced coffee and you expect quick convenient service especially with the drive threw . Beware!! I will definitely not...
