Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Louisiana

Zero stars!!! I ordered online for carside to go, sent the text alerting my arrival. I recieved a reply stating it would be out shortly. However, 10 minutes passed and no one had come out so I sent my son inside to pick it up. After he waited about 15 minutes, I decided to just go in to see what was going on and to possibly cancel my order. After waiting another 20 minutes of standing at the register waiting on someone to come up front so that I can ask about my order, I decided to ask for a manager to cancel (in addition to my son standing in the lobby for 15 minutes unattended to) Thr manager came about 15 minutes later...finally. But what else was she to do when she was helping COOK? What I do want to mention about the manager is that I do not in any form blame her for anything. She remained professional under pressureand also tried to accomodate me as best as she could by going make my order herself. This order was now 1hr late. I requested a refund since my order was not done already. I had dinner in the car for my other 3 children that was now stone cold. I was told however that I could not get my money back at the time since I paid online and would have to leave my name and number instead. So now I was out of my food and my money?! Shame on Chilli's for not allowing these resturants to have a automatic cut off limit when taking carside to go orders. This was my very first time giving Chillis a try and I am not only unimpressed, I will never be back. Also, I feel if there was less playing around in the kitchen, which was pretty noisy even to the point of a worker slapping the door open to the point of startling us in the lobby screaming, "Chillis stressing me out" understandable but unprofessional. I witnessed the lack of hair nets on anyone working in that kitchen. I saw horseplay, but what I did witness was a manager who was busting her tail to take care of us who were understandably upset but not with her. I was so upset I did not enjoy my meal and my appetizer was also missing from my bag. My fries where greasy and hard, some were soggy with grease. I wouldn't dare go back after...

11NOV23 ~ Another Five Star review! Thank you Chili's for your honoring veterans on Veteran's Day! The restaurant was spotlessly clean; my waitress, who worked behind the bar and I do not know her name, was very good, friendly, you could hear it in the tone of her voice & the look in her eyes, helpful, fast on the uptake, and always came by at the right times, not too much, and not too little; I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas & they were outstanding in quantity & quality. Thank you Chili's!

The restaurant was spotlessly clean; my waitress, 'Tracy' (SP?) was as good as they come, she was genuinely friendly, you could hear it in the tone of her voice & the look in her eyes, helpful, fast on the uptake, and always came by at the right times, not too much, and not too little; I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas & they were outstanding in quantity & quality. Thank you Chili's!

11NOV21 ~ Thank you for recognizing America's Veterans & a delicious meal on Veteran's Day! I have in the past and will continue to dine at Chili's with friends & family.

Four Months Earlier...

A good dining experience, thank-you. The food was very good. We had the $25 for 2 dinners. We had the fresh guacamole with chips appetizer, we both had the chicken fajitas, and cheesecake for dessert. The service was good, the food was good in both quality & quantity, and we enjoyed ourselves. Thank-you. The only negative was we had to have a regular table because my wife is in a wheelchair. That put them in a high-speed wobble, they forgot about us, and we spent a while waiting for a table.

Two years earlier...

Nothing really bad, or good, to report, just middle of the road in every aspect. My wife and I go there from time to time. She likes the food there better than I do. The food is okay. Again, it is nothing to brag about or complain about too much. The price is middle of the road, not too pricey and not cheap. The waitress was a bit 'weak' on this visit but she is just...

We should have left after walking in to find no host/ess to seat us.

When someone finally showed up we were seated at a table nearest the kitchen and bathrooms where the servers were yelling back and forth to one another.

Our waiter nay have been new as we had to practically read the menu to him for our selections.

One person in our party of four ordered the mixed grill - brisket and ribs. The waiter told us they may be out of ribs but would let us know.

My meal was from the appetizer menu but the waiter knew it was my meal. It came out a good ten minutes prior to the other meals and the waiter brought appetizer plates for everyone. He then informed us that the system had let him out in the ribs so we should be good.

When he came back again with two of the other meals he said that they were in fact out of ribs. So my companion said to just double the brisket.

By this time I was finished my meal, two were just starting, and the third had yet to receive his. Then the manager came out. I thought he was going to apologise but no, he came to tell us there was no brisket either. Really!?

A replacement hamburger came out of that kitchen so fast I'm pretty sure it had been sitting back there!

Then, when the waiter brought the bill, the mixed grill item was still on it. So we had to wait for that to be corrected.

The manager did make good by comping the hamburger but by that point there was really no redemption.

Between the inexperienced waiter, lack of communication between the kitchen and waitstaff, the yelling back and forth between the servers, etc. we will definitely not be returning this location.

The only reason I gave two stars was because the food...
