My wife and I first tried Firehouse Subs while we were living in Las Vegas and were thrilled with the concept, community involvement, great food and great food. When we moved back to Louisiana, we found a Firehouse Subs location in Algiers and even though we lived a few miles away, we ordered often and occasionally ate in the store. Now that we have a location on Manhattan Blvd, in Harvey, LA we've ordered take-out and on 13Oct2025, after a rough day of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments for my wife, we decided to dine in.

A large brisket or steak sandwich will run you $12.79 pretax but that’s not outrageous for what you get. EDIT: Went there the following day at 1:15 PM (11-17-21). I was the only person in line but the lady at the register was taking a phone order and when my wait time reached 6 minutes I left. Every order I've placed has had something missing or completely wrong. I've even gotten mac and cheese the seemed to be spoiled (sauce was separated and clumpy). I'll just drive to one of the other locations to avoid a headache...
