Sigh. The saga of crazy restaurant stories continues ...
This place just opened which is why I hate to do this b/c I understand the crazy of opening up a store for the first time buttttttttt it's my duty to let people know what's up.
So let's start with the positives. Great Coffee on the first trip. The second trip- I don't know what was going on. I should've stayed in drive through.
Speaking of drive through, everything is made to order so if you're looking for fast service like Burger King - you're looking in the wrong place to grab your morning muffin. You're better off coming inside.
First experience, was drive through.
Nothing bad about it just took longer than expected- I asked the woman with the bright colored braids if she would like me to pull up front so that she can take the next person she said no and then shortly after asked could I pull up to the front - in my head I was like - I literally just asked you- but I let it go and I received my order 15 minutes later and It was hot so I can't complain there. They did forget to give me syrup which I found strange, being that I ordered pancakes. But oh well I left with my Joe on the Rocks with hazelnut and caramel flavoring happy as a clam.
Second visit I went inside.
What in the hell did I walk into? My order took 35 minutes and the woman who took my order was so badly trained she couldn't tell a lid from a cup I tell ya.
My joe on the rocks was not even filled up to the top as usual - she didn't even know how to make it - so I'm super frustrated but I was being patient with her b/c I know how it is to receive bad training and left to defend yourself. It was just a cluster of craziness. The woman taking my order couldn't find the buttons to place my order, the woman she was asking for help was running around helping other orders.. she was about to crash I tell ya. And if she would have said "I'm new here I don't know" one more time I would have screamed. I'm over here like what. In . The . Karen is going on here.!?!
So of course I reviewed the ticket to make sure she didn't over charge me... I felt more stressed being there than leaving there .. it was people backed up almost to the door.
#Circus Town.
And now I hear that Chris in the back is putting human waste in food!?! Which is crazy b/c all I seen were melanated men in the back cooking. So I don't know where that came from.
Would I go back..that's up for question. The prices vs the portion size barely seems worth it.
The restaurant is new sooo maybe it will be better in time. It is said that Chris doesn’t work here. I didn’t see this individual there when I went so I feel as if someone is trying to sabotage this restaurant.
If you go to Joe’s order ahead of time to prevent...
Read moreOrdered breakfast at the drive-thru, 6-20, 8:30am. We asked the girl once to repeat her question because we couldn't understand what she said, she repeated it in a sarcastic and rude manner. We almost decided to just drive off but didn't. When we finished ordering she told us to drive up. When we got to the window I asked her to repeat our order before completing the transaction... (because usually if somebody doesn't repeat the order back, nine times out of ten something's going to be wrong). She read our order back to us quickly with a smirk and we paid. I get the receipt and notice that she didn't put the extra espresso shots that we ordered. I wasn't going to say anything since we weren't charged on the receipt but my boyfriend did tell the blonde lady with the tattoos at the window that we ordered espresso shots and she said she would get it then closed the window. I watched her tell the other girl to put espresso in our mochas and her body language looked as though she was mocking me. I didn't catch her name but the girl's name on the receipt, who took our order, is Jaminique. We've come to this establishment quite a few times and always had a good experience. We won't be returning now. When I get rude service, I don't trust what they might do to our food either. We weren't rude when asking Jaminique to repeat her question, nor when asking her to repeat the order. My boyfriend politely told the blonde haired lady about the espresso shots. Why would someone be dumb enough to be rude to the people making your food? I used to work in the service industry and try to be as clear and nice as possible. These girls were...
Read moreToday my friend and I went to joes to get some breakfast and coffee. A waitress in a purple shirt was so incredibly rude and not just to me but also to the people around us! I ordered a hungry man stack and some beignets and an iced coffee. First, the waitress was annoyed that we ordered coffee because she said they take a long time to make. Then, as she was making our coffees she turned around and told the people at the counter that my coffee would be the last one she was making because they take too long! Another gentleman came up and needed to pick up his order and told her he’d like to add donut holes too. She literally just walked away from the man and started doing something else! My friend and I laughed a little because we were so in shock by her! She then looked at us and said I don’t know why you two are laughing, it’s not funny! Another girl in a black shirt was behind the counter and asked us if we had been helped and I told her yes, and that one of the girls was being rude to customers and yelling at them. I explained the situation to her and she apologized. She was very nice and even gave us free donuts! The food, coffee and donuts were good. If it wouldn’t have been for the girl talking to us and apologizing, we definitely...
