Restaurant Pupuseria El Buen Gusto — Restaurant in Louisiana

I went in once the place was smaller than It's a family type of atmosphere the restaurant was smaller than I thought it would be. It was clean, the person who waited on me was courteous, and the aroma of the food smelled & taste good. I ordered food to go.

I've been feeling under the weather lately, and I had a horrible week battling a virus. I knew I needed something nutritious to get me back on my feet, so I ordered the sopa de res/beef soup. It was PERFECT. Just what I was looking for and my body was craving. I loved all the beautiful vegetables, lots of colors ❤️ The beef was tasty and the soup itself was delightful. Loved it. Oh, I'm not sure what the bread was that came with it but it was so soft and perfect for my sore throat....

I was excited to try their pupusas, but as we sat down and ordered, we noticed that inside of the restaurant there were a lot of gnats, ruining our dining experience. We swatted them and continued my conversation with my mom. The food was decent, way over priced for it's quality and flavor. I was surprised to see I was charged 4 dollars for 2 regular water bottles, not even mineral or sparkling. I would recommend another restaurant for authentic...
