Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Louisiana

Visited this location on 4.20 on my way to clinicals. Service was horrible. Took upwards of 5 minutes after pressing the button to place an order AND notifying a car hop that I had not been helped to get assistance. Once the order was placed I(2 corn dogs a sm onion ring and a small cherry coke) I paid on the menu. $10.56 total I opted NOT TO TIP given the lack of service. When I get the order no onion rings. I make the inquiry about the missing item only to be told "we're out. The adjustment will be made to your card". It was not. It's seven days later and I've called every day without receiving any actual person to person contact. The phone picks up and asks you leave a message because staff is busy. Today I've contacted corporate (for the principle because let's be honest: they STOLE my $3). I won't be surprised if this goes unresolved and no one is held accountable but to say this interaction was disappointing is an understatement. This was supposed to be a rare treat for a job well done, as the semester ends, and instead has cost me my personal peace and the faith of this staff/locations ability to function on the most basic level. Total time spent here was 27 minutes. First time here but I won't be back. Imo they should close this place. DO NOT waste your time or energy. I'm not sure what they're doing at this restaurant but providing quality customer...

If I could give this review no stars i would. Went to sonic on 4/2/2023 pressed the button to place an order at 12:57ish. waited over 15 minutes and never even got so much as a hello. Now I did realize they were busy and I was being patient. UNTIL A vehicle pulled up next to me. I watched the gentleman hit his button to order. And to my surprise his order was taken within 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. So we went to the door to let them know what happened and the person said "They were busy and all over the place" what ever that means. I thought once you hit the button it puts you in Que and they take your order once it's your turn, NOPE! NOT AT THIS LOCATION. My order was probably going to be around $25 as i needed food for 6 people. So I was angry by this point and left. Not only did they miss out on this sale but I will never go back to Sonic ever. Sorry...

This sonic USED to be one of the better ones in town, but now it has easily become the worst. The last few times I've gone here, it has taken a ridiculous amount of time just to receive drinks and there is almost always something wrong. Today, I used the app to order 4 very simple drinks and after waiting for over 15 minutes the screen said someone was on their way. After another 10 minutes went by with still no drinks, we managed to catch a carhop next to us and asked them to check on our order. Then, after several minutes went by with nothing, we pressed the red button where NO ONE answered for the entire time we were there. We even went to the door TWICE to speak to someone and finally after 45 minutes and our second time going to the door, we were finally given our drinks (which were also incorrect). Will not be returning to this...
