The lobster is fresh frozen at Sports Beat. It's good but not as good as JEAGER'S. For the same price JEAGER'S serves a fresh lobster with boiled corn and potatoes, soup and salad for $25.00. The Wednesday steak night is a good deal. On Saturdays they serve $2.00 burgers and hot dogs all day, much smaller than the regular burger and it's plain. By the time you ad a $1 upcharge for every extra ingredient including cheese, grilled onions etc. You might as well get the regular sized burger...it comes with fries and is a least 8 to 12 ounces of meat. Came in here on Wednesday night and will never come back in here again. The steak took forever, the rest of my table was done by the time we received our food. They substituted our carrots which we thought we were getting, for corn. We were never told we were getting corn, and keep in mind I have a condition where I can’t eat corn. All I asked was for a refill on a coke and was told I had to go to the bar. Later that night, the same server (Sherri) told me I was rude. Worst service I’ve had in my life. I would highly recommend staying...

This place is close to my office, I have been there-four times in the last month, the food is always fresh, well cooked well presented and is phenomenal. Its incredible value, and probably the best lunch deal in this part of Metairie. The service is quick polite and the food and bar service is also perfect. Very impressive. The staff in this place are world class bar tenders, all polite, professional. This place should not be missed if out and about in Metairie and you thirsty...
