11.10.24 came for the first time to buy some donuts... I was greeted and my order was taken care of by the Sweet Asian girl at the counter. I ordered a glazed donut: 1 out of 5 stars I can't explain it, but it just wasn't Sweet enough or didn't have enough glaze probably on it. I ordered a cinnamon roll: 1 out of 5 stars. The cinnamon roll didn't have enough glaze, either...and it lacked cinnamon. The pleasing item that I did try was the eclairs. There were only 2 left, and I bought them both. When I got back home, I tried an eclair (it was my bf's order choice), and it is their definite show-stopper! 5/5 points!!!! I usually don't like eclairs...but the ones made here are delicious!!! If I do return, it'll only be for the eclairs until I find another donut shop that does great with an original glazed donut and cinnamon donut.

Kara and her husband made my husbandā€˜s grooms cake king cake tower. Everyone absolutely loved it! Kara was very easy to work with and bent over backwards for us. Everyone is still talking about how old yummy the king cakes were! Especially my out-of-state family. Will definitely be ordering several king cakes next season!

I purchased 2 king cakes from Heavenly donut for the first time for Mardi Gras. Iā€™ve eaten donuts and apple fritters from Heavenly Donut in the past which were excellent. But I am very disappointed with their king cakes. After buying numerous king cakes from Harvest Foods in Geismar, I decided to try something new....the fried king cake at Thee Heavenly donut. The cake was dry and with very little filing. I ordered the almond cream cheese and the LA mud. I plan on doctoring the cake with some extra ingredients to better the taste. The cakes are around $25 each and I donā€™t want to throw them away. My plan was to take it work and let my co-workers sample. But Iā€™m glad I tasted it first. Very disappointing.. I think Iā€™ll stick with Harvest Foods from...
