Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisiana

The male cook of five years, burned every single piece of food and they told us the price is changed quite frequently(the menu prices were wrong apparently), but we ate at Waffle House in a different location less than a month ago and spent less than half of that for the same amount of food. I was told that most of the staff had called off and our cooks hands were extremely shaky. if you see a male cook in his 50s or so, I recommend going to a different location. his attitude was fantastic, but he burnt everything. I may try again, but definitely not on his shift. I came home and was sick the rest of the day. even assuming the prices were right per item, the quality wasn’t worth the price at all. all of the staff were on break when we came in and the tables were a mess, tho the waitress apologized saying they were in the process of cleaning up. my partner went back later that night on a different shift tho to test it and the food was a lot better, so its not the establishment thats bad just perhaps bad staff...

Kenya and Neke "leader" worst. Service: Dominique did a good job. Replaced an uncooked waffle and wanted to replace cold grits with lumps. But out of nowhere comes Kenya yelling at a customer who slowly moved the plate from a table to sit down with his family of 3. "What chu doing?You don't get to just move plates from the table. That's not how it goes." He let's her know he just wanted to sit, and she went off again. He said well I can just leave, and she says,"OK, bye." I called her to me quietly and said It was really rude how she spoke to him. If she would've just said, "Let me get that for you, sir. Or I'll clear the table for you." But she rolled her eyes and walked off. I asked for the manager and while he was listening to me. Neke (I believe this is her nickname) said, "She didn't do nothing wrong..." Kenya kept telling me to mind my business. A gentleman who was sitting there stepped in to say to the manager on dury. All she needed to say was, "I'll clear the dishes for you." Point being, she...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I love Waffle House but this place needs to get their employees in line. On 1/21/23 we entered the restaurant where we were the only customers and there were three employees on staff. Not a single table was wiped down so we chose to sit at the bar. Not a single employee greeted us or even acknowledged that we were in the restaurant. After 10 minutes without a word being said to us we grabbed our stuff and left. Two weeks prior we had a similar experience with the tables where the staff was arguing over who would wipe them down. This went on throughout our meal and no one touched the tables. They also argued about dishes and we were forced to dine with plasticware since they said there were no clean forks. Absolutely ridiculous! As full time travelers we are thankful this is not the norm and we won't let it stop us from enjoying other locations but we will NEVER step foot in this...
