I've eaten at Walk-Ons twice now, and neither experience has been great. However, tonight will be my absolute last time. Went there to celebrate a birthday, arrived at 6:00pm and was told there was an hour to an hour and a half wait. After 8:00pm, we were still not seated and no one could tell us how much longer. One of the moms started to get angry, informed management we have several toddlers with us that need to eat. 30 more minutes pass before we're finally seated, which makes no sense since there wasn't many people at the other tables. We weren't even all together -- separated by multiple tables and booths.
Wife ordered pasta ($19.99), my 3-year-old got chicken tenders from the kids menu ($7.99), I ordered chicken tenders from the normal menu($13.99). By the time we got the food, it was well after 9:00pm -- three full hours after our arrival. My tenders came with 5 -small- tenders, and literally 7 waffle fries... for $14. I thought it was a kids meal served to me accidentally. It was on the exact same sized mini plate as my son's food, just 2 extra tenders. At this point, we weren't even hungry anymore. When we finally got the check, all the food I just mentioned ended up being $76 with tax and a forced gratuity for being a part of a "large group", which is laughable since we were all separated by multiple tables, and they even wanted another tip on top of that.
Service was terrible, food was mediocre at best. As for the "atmosphere"... I honestly don't even know what to say. I can't think of a descriptor than "smelly bar that serves overpriced food, ran by kids and 20 TVs on simultaneous high volumes".
I sincerely believe that every single member of management should be fired for how horrible this place is ran. Absolutely terrible experience and I will never eat at...
Read moreI really enjoy going to walk ons , they have many tv's with sports going on all the time and the coldest beer I've found anywhere .my favorite bartender is Lauren, she usually is there on Monday and Wednesdays and I make it a point to go in when she's working .she does a great job and is so friendly and helpful with taking your order .I wish more workers at restaurants were as nice with the customers as she is , one of my main reasons I stop in as much I do is because of her .she's usually there on Mondays and Wednesdays, but I haven't seen her on Mondays that much lately , come on walk ons you need to get her there on those days like you use to do , i have no idea why she's not there like she use to be but walk ons you need to do better getting her there on those days . Read moreThis review would’ve been a 1 had I written it 10 minutes sooner. Ordered lunch for the office and everyone’s food was correct except mine. It was a kitchen error and they happen, although the kitchen love to blame the servers. Although in the kitchen’s defense, any server should be combing the hell out of orders for a kitchen error. You’re missing out on the rare chance to correct those who think they don’t make mistakes. Plus you’re the last set of eyes to hit a plate before it’s served. But my salad had bleu cheese. I hate it. And I was like well the shrimp is on the side I’ll eat that. The shrimp was not there at all. I called and asked for it to be back on the card. It couldn’t be done but they could bring me a gift card later because I didn’t feel like going back. It’s hot and I’m busy. The manager I think Carlo showed up less than an hour later with my salad and the gift cards. I have very low expectations of “Chain restaurants” so I honestly was just going to get the salad later with the gift cards. It’s not the end of the world. It was even worse. It was Bleu cheese. But This manager made it right and I can assure you, whatever he’s paid is not enough for what he has to put up with. And I hope he took the scenic route to me and enjoyed an ice cream cone on his way back to work just for a break. I don’t even care if he ate one...
