I applied for a General Manager position. I was given the classic "Bait and Switch" treatment. I was told that I would qualify for a Shift Manager position, starting at $10-11 an hour. Then I was told that I would have to be hired on as a Team Member, at $9 an hour, in order to "train up" to get to the Shift Manager position after a period of time, in which I would have to meet with management again to assess my progress. I'm sorry, but that was a disrespectful slap in the face. I applied for a General Manager position. If I was not qualified, I would not have applied for it. I don't appreciate being given the run-around and told that I would have to be okay with making less than what I applied for, when I had spoken with a District Manager about a General Manager position. The past 4 times I have visited this location (within the last 6-8 weeks) the food I’ve received has been either an incomplete order or wrong entirely. The inside of the restaurant is often closed which means leaving with the wrong items or waiting another 15-30 minutes through the drive through. I understand the current staffing issues facing the industry at this time; however, this location takes the shortcomings to the extreme. I hope to see this restaurant improve soon.
Update 8/2024. Nothing at this restaurant has been improved. Orders remain incorrect, cold and soggy fries, and the person accepting orders and at the drive through window was slurring words so badly he was nearly incomprehensible. No wonder Wendy’s is...
Read moreWent to the drive thru. Person taking my order was rude and unwelcoming. I asked for a specific drink and she practically told me what I would get and it was not what I asked for. Pulled up to the window to a loud conversation about not wanting to work there. She was still rude and unwelcoming along with the other two people who were having the conversation with her in the window. She took and gave back my card scowling. When I received my food the fries were cold and the lemonade had no flavor. Oh and they weren’t busy at all I was the only car there. This was ridiculous.
