Found this place online. It is Supposed to be one of the best Chinese Restaurants in Louisville. We drove over from Indiana to specifically dine here for Saturday lunch. They open at 12 noon on Saturdays. Later than most restaurants. Dining Room modern & trendy. Our server was an older lady. She didnât fit what weâd expect. She had no personality & didnt suggest anything. The Lunch menu is on the back of menu, which I found. Ice tea had peach flavor to it, which I hate and then ask for water instead. I really wanted tea in the pot. Which I ask for but server didnât figure it out or explain. The Hot n sour soup was pretty good like other reviewers stated. My lunch companion said her egg roll was good. We got bbq ribs appetizer to share as an appetizer. the ribs had good flavor to me, no wet wipes came with it, which most nice places bring you either wipes or a wet napkin. This appetizer came with four ribs although some of the meat was tough & I couldnât chew it. Descent flavor but messy. Server brought one small appetizer plate for one of us. We had to get her to bring another plate. An appetizer is supposed to be shared so common sense would have been for her to either ask us how many plates or just bring two. One for each of us. Our major complaint happened due to our entrees. My shrimp, which was the protein in my dish, was undercooked. After eating all of my meal and pushing the shrimp to the side of the plate, the server then arrives. I advised her about this shrimp. She asked if they could bring replacement. I told her Iâm finished with my meal and weâre about ready to go. She came back and said they took the entree off. That was fair. The unusual after taste of the entree remained embedded in my mouth. Which is not appealing. My companion didnât complain about her chicken meat but insisted I taste it. It was not edible either. It tasted like it was old chicken meat going bad and left out too long. She didnât complain. We just wanted to leave. After eating there My companion tells me She had a bad taste in her mouth as well. that her gum couldnât get rid of it. The chef should be ashamed. The veggies associated with the meal were okay. Nothing spectacular. This was my first and last time dining here. The small Chinese restaurants in the strip centers are better than this over-priced place. Itâs your job as a chef to ensure your cooks prepare good fresh quality food and prepare it properly. You all are NOT right using old chicken meat and the cook not seeering the shrimp long enough to cook it through. Four large shrimp with veggies for $11.50. Same quality in strip center for $6.00. The trendy, yuppies and wealthy can continue eating your food. I do not recommend. Rice was bland. Music was nice. Saw an Asian man pulling grass in the yard. This place was a disappointment and doesnât warrant our return.
Update after owners reply: received such a quick reply from the owner. As his negative tone tells all. As depicted also from his other google replies. Owner should learn from other business owners. Either donât reply to negative reviews or keep negative replies simple. Do your research. Most owners say âsorry for your experience, please try us again.â You either apparently cannot read or didnât thoroughly read my review. therefore, you missed some main points. You are antagonistic toward the negative google reviewers. Things do happen when running a business and a restaurant. Own up to it, your business is not perfect. You apparently cannot...

Our waitress was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and attentive, checking in at just the right intervals without ever feeling intrusive.
We started with two appetizers: the Tuna Roll with Aioli and the Goat Cheese Wontons. Both arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. The Tuna Roll was fresh and perfectly balanced with its creamy aioli, while the Goat Cheese Wontons had a delightful crispy texture paired with a rich, tangy filling. Our waitressâs recommendations were spot-on, and her insight into the menu added an extra layer of trust and excitement to the meal.
The drink service was equally impressive. The cocktails were fantasticâcrafted with care and creativityâand the wine selection was diverse and well-curated. Our drinks arrived promptly, ensuring we could enjoy them alongside our appetizers without delay.
For entrees, we chose the Duck with Green Beans and the Lemongrass Grouper. Both dishes were plated beautifully, showcasing the chefâs attention to detail. The duck was tender and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the crisp green beans, while the grouper had a delicate, citrusy essence that felt both refreshing and indulgent. Every bite was a testament to the kitchenâs skill.
To finish the night, we indulged in the Chocolate Bomb for dessert. One of the owners personally delivered it to our table, a lovely touch that made the experience feel even more special. The plate was adorned with heart-shaped designs, adding a romantic and artistic flair. The dessert itself was decadent and perfectly sweetâan unforgettable end to a flawless meal.
The entire team, from the attentive manager who checked on us to the friendly waitress and thoughtful owner, made us feel valued and cared for. This bistro truly excels not only in its culinary offerings but also in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Highly recommend for anyone seeking exquisite food, top-notch service, and a touch of elegance. Weâll...
Read moreI was excited to take my husband to one of my favorite restaurants in Louisville for the first time tonight. As usual, the food did not disappoint. However, I cannot convince him - or myself - to return after the service we experienced. We got there a little before 8:00pm, and there were probably eight or so tables eating dinner or finishing up. It took forever to get a server. He brought regular coke instead of diet. It took forever to put in an appetizer/soup order. We were ready to order our dinner at that point, but he ran off before we could get that across to him. He brought out the soups and then disappeared again. We finally got our dinner order in. A manager filled my husband's drink, this time with the right thing. Our food came and was great. The server offered to refill our drinks. We confirmed with him that we had diet, and he again brought regular. We finished and waited forever for a check. And all of this waiting isn't because the server was overwhelmed or busy with other tables. It was because he was doing side work and bussing empty tables so he could get out of there. It's not like we sat down at 9:25 for a 9:30 closing time. We sat before 8:00! I have no idea why the server didn't want to wait on us. I am a former server myself and would never walk by a table with a credit card up in the air starring at me waiting for my help so I could instead grab dirty dishes off an empty table! To add insult to injury, when the check was closed out, and I was still waiting on a box for my food - my husband went to the restroom. The bartender didn't notice me still sitting in the corner of the dining room and started to talk about us to the server. He promptly cut her off before she could finish her statement. The only thing I can figure is that we were standing in their way to getting off work and annoyed them to have to stay and serve us. I would advise the management to close at 8:00pm if your staff won't attentively wait on tables...
