This is My favorite coffee shop in Louisville, Kentucky. It is in between the city downtown and Russell neighborhood. It’s filled with love and care. You can tell everyone loves their job especially the chef. The food that comes out of that kitchen is some of the best homemade local food I’ve ever had in my life. You can’t go wrong with literally any single thing on that menu whether it’s food or drink. I personally love the black girl magic with oat milk. It has lavender and honey in the drink. And then the other day I got a pomegranate lemonade easily the best lemonade I’ve ever had in my life and honestly, I make lemonade for a living. It wasn’t incredibly sweet. It was the most perfect lemonade I’ve actually ever had. I literally have so many good things to say about this place. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm. It would be a great place to do work or school. I’m definitely gonna be there this summer finishing up my college courses. Blak Koffee is #1! We are coffee connoissuers and we search to find Great Black Owned coffee shops whenever we travel. This trip took us through Louisville, Kentucky and there we found one of the best coffee shops in the country.....BLAK KOFFEE. This place is amazing with a welcoming vibe of warmth, love, kindness, and inclusivity. The coffee is rich, robust and flavorful. They have a great menu and the food is delicious. Now for the cherry on top of the sundae.... the EXCELLENT SERVICE. There are not enough words to describe how superb the service is. Mr. Kevin a.k.a. "Mr. Blak Koffee" was so welcoming, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. It was such a great experience that we had to take something home so we bought enough coffee beans to last us severals months. This coffee shop has become my sanctuary in the city. From the moment I first stepped inside, Roderick and Brianca greeted me with which such a warmth and kindness!

The décor is a work of art—every corner whispers intention, every detail carries beauty. When the owner came to thank me for visiting, I had to tell him how the whole place feels alive with uplifting energy. He smiled and credited his wife —the space feels touched by love. The vision is really felt, as a minority I feel seen and inspired from the moment I walk in.

And then, the flavors. Each sip, each bite ✨💫💕. The Blak Girl Magic latte, the creamy Matcha Latte, the perfectly crafted meals. My favs is the omelette for breakfast and the wraps for lunch. The chef’s talent shines through every plate. I love treating our office with their pastry.
