Pursuit Spirits on Whiskey Row — Local services in Louisville

After years of listening to the podcast and recently joining the PClub, I finally had the chance to experience The Whole Shebang at Pursuit Spirits’ new Whiskey Row location. It was everything I hoped for and more.

The tour was incredibly informative and Alex was a fantastic host, making the entire experience engaging and fun. I especially enjoyed learning the history of what makes Pursuit special, as they shared the who, what, and how—from where they source barrels to how their blends are thoughtfully created. That level of transparency is what sets them apart and why loyal fans like us feel so connected to the brand.

The highlight, of course, was tasting through multiple barrels and then getting to personally select a rye for my own bottle. Filling it by hand, corking, labeling, and sealing it myself made it a one-of-a-kind souvenir that I’ll always treasure.

This experience is absolutely worth every penny, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants something more than a standard distillery tour. Congratulations to Ryan and Kenny on the new location and all their continued success—I’ll...

WOW! This is the home of the Bourbon Pursuit podcast guys and the new shop is magnificent! The team is very knowledgeable with the back story of this dream 10 years in the making. All three experiences we tried this week offer something for everyone. The Build Your Own Cocktail kicked off our visit with some very creative mixologists and the ability to craft our own flavors while learning about the layering of flavors was eye opening. Thanks to Tim, a Pursuit "OG", the Mellwood Experience spoke to my inner history buff as he went through the background of over a century for a group that has only existed a little over a decade. Finally, the coup de gras, The Whole Shebang! This was not my first rodeo, but I learned so much from Alexander, I was truly amazed. To cap it off, we bottled our own choice of the one-off blend. Overall, the whole place was just incredible....

We had a phenomenal time at Pursuit Spirits! When it comes to an immersive experience, nobody can touch The Whole Shebang. It is absolutely incredible. My buddy and I totally geeked out and blended three already great barrels into something that is 100% our own and phenomenal to our palates. We did a bourbon and a rye blend and had to buy both because they were so good. Bottling using the whiskey thief and custom labeling your new bad ass bottles is the perfect way to end the experience.

We were blown away by everything you guys had to offer. It was by far the most memorable experience of our trip to Kentucky!
