An unexpected treat, walked in because the place looked bright, clean amazing. We thought we might sample, but instead ordered drinks. First off

A Main Street Manhattan.... presentation was great. Thru ice filter, bubble on the glass.. But wasn't my style of taste... tasted dark and chocolate caramel like.....

Then came Kirsten, she said... let me make you Strawberry Fields...WOW!!

With a orchid on top!!!

What a great bourbon cocktail with a margarita feel (I hate sweet, this was not sweet, it was tart and salty) and Kirsten was tart and sassy and sweet!! She told us about the business, and Louisville history, you can tell she really loves her job, and respects who she works for...

Then!!!! A local sitting beside us ordered a Dirty City Rose!!!??!!!

Kirsten creates this cocktail with rose foam. And Homemade pearls... who does that? She was a chemist, an artist, a friendly talking gal....and if I ever owned my own business....she would be my employee.

The Only non 5 stars I give this establishment is they were out of our size button blank bourbon shirts.

Nicest stop we had in Louisville for tasting.

I...

"We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Bardstown tasting in Louisville! Having previously enjoyed the thieving tour at the Bardstown distillery, we knew this location wouldn't disappoint. The interior is stunning – clean, grand, and wonderfully open, giving you a great view of the gift shop and the tasting room. The tasting room itself is bright and inviting, with comfortable seating for about six per table and large windows. Our speaker was engaging and knowledgeable, adding a fun and informative layer to the experience. We sampled four bourbons, with the last being a delightful surprise, and each of the first three was paired perfectly with something to enhance the experience. Our guide expertly walked us through each taste, sharing history and adding some fun interactions with the group. Highly recommend! After the tasting, we browsed the gift shop and picked up some lovely bar utensils and amazing smelling wax melts. We capped off our visit with some delicious and well-balanced Old Fashioneds at the bar. Our entire experience was fun, delicious, and memorable. We'll definitely be back on our next trip...

We visited the Bardstown Bourbon Louisville tasting room on March 26th. We had booked a spot for myself and my wife on the Single Barrel Experience. The Single Barrel Experience provided by Jon and his team at the Louisville Tatsing Room is the best bourbon experience we've had. My wife and I have been on bottling tours, theivings, blend your own, etc. with other distilleries. None of them hold a candle to what Jon and his team is providing. This is a versatile experience that will be enjoyed by the bourbon aficionado, bourbon newbee, or bourbon geek alike. The one-on-one attention and interaction is unbelievable. DO NOT MISS...

New addition to distillers Row… They have a barrel pic available typically as well as a few of their more difficult releases to acquire.
