On Sunday April 9th the website for Bungalow Joes showed they were open, I have been going through a lot this year with my mental health and severe depression and anxiety, so I wasn’t able to cook Easter dinner for my kids. We all agreed to get Bunglows that day! So I place an order for over 50$’s that Sunday. My husband goes to get our food only to find all the lights we’re out and the place was locked! I call early on Monday wanting my money back, the lady took my number and said a manager would be calling me and that I’m not the only person this happened to, as they forgot to shut the website down for Sunday and let people know they were going to be closed. So I give her my number and wait all day Monday for a manager to call me and give me my money back. Here it’s is Tuesday I’ve gotten no call and of course they are also closed on Tuesday, so here I am Tuesday the 11th still don’t have my 50$’s back and no phone call was given to even apologize for their mistake! This used to be our favorite restaurant but they have definitely lost a customer with me! You don’t do people like this, especially in this economy where it’s hard to even pay for food at this time, but they think it’s okay to take money and not give it back for 3-5 business days and who cares on how bad that hurts you and your family! It’s not hurting them, as they have already gotten my money, the transaction posted today! My father was another customer they have lost due to this issue, sadly he had ordered from there on Sunday as well and he still hasn’t gotten his money back neither or a phone call! Breaks my heart that this is how they chose to do business. This is the Last business they will have from me and my family. For a mistake like this I would have called my customers had them bring in the receipt from Sunday and given them all cash, that would not have hurt them to do so! I will not be recommending this business to...
Read moreI had researched places to eat in Louisville while we were going for the weekend and this place caught my eye. I liked rhe variety on the menu and the stinky chips sounded great! So I bookmarked it as an option for dinner while there. Sunday night rolls around, it's 930 and we are starving. We decided to drive the 15 minutes to try this place and we were all so glad we did!! It's a sports bar, dinner.... The bar is bigger than the dining area and looked nice. We had our kids so we didn't go in. There were lots of TV's with different sports options to watch. The waitress was friendly and the food was amazing! The stinky chips rocked and I really recommend them!! My daughter and I both got the chicken strip dinner. We could have shared it! They were delicious! I make very good chicken strips myself and my kids and I are very particular about them and these ranked up there with mine so kudos! Lol It came with 2 sides, I got potato wedges that were just as good! Crispy outside and soft inside with great seasoning! And a side salad. It was small but the bleu cheese dressing was great! My 9 year old did the kids shrimp. They are good sized but he could eat double the amount they give you. (5) My husband had the Bourbon glazed salmon and green beans, minus the Bourbon Glaze. (he likes his salmon natural) Both were delicious! The salmon had great flavor and the green beans are cooked with bacon and had great flavors as well. The only thing bad I can say about our experience is about the shrimp because they are very spicy, which we didn't expect being on the kids menu. Other than that it was great and will be back on our next...
Read moreWe visited this place Wednesday 7/17 and walked in ab 9:50pm. I called ahead before to make sure they closed at 11 still. I was going to order wings for an appetizer and then get two entrees, plus drinks. I was parched and couldn’t wait to get a sweet tea. We were seated, asked about what we wanted to drink and the server told us that they already threw the tea out. It wasn’t even 10pm yet. They still had an hour before close. My gf ordered her drink and I ordered water. After about a minute or so we decided to leave since they didn’t have tea. It wasn’t just the fact they were out, but more that they got rid of it an hour plus prior to closing and weren’t going to make anymore. How hard is it to make tea? My gf used to be a server and told me it isn’t difficult, just laziness. It’s also not an unpopular drink so I would guess that more ppl would probably also want it within that hour. Not making more of an item that’s easily made and also a “staple” here, but our server missed out on the entire because of that. Let’s imagine we didn’t leave and I just got the water, that server still missed out on the cost of the drinks tip i would’ve left. If it’s 15 minutes til close, I would understand, but this was a little over an hour before close. Someone should have taken the 5 or 10 minutes to make more since it’s something that’s ordered frequently and with an hour remaining it shouldn’t have...
