Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Louisville

Love it!! Now my new sub place, has been my sub place and I went in today and they probably got it will have many complaints about the slowest service for hot food. I ordered 3 subs 2 cold 1 hot on line at 11:30am for a 1:30pm pick up. I walked through their door at 1:30 on the nose and walked out at 2:10pm. When I looked to see if our order was ready and I didn't find it the man asked who I was looking for, I told him he found it and so oh we will be starting that soon. WOW 😲 I stand for a little while and see people who have been waiting for over an hour for their order. I have been a manager of a restaurant for many years. Retired now but the manager was receiving a truck and was busy elsewhere and the store got out of control. They had 4 people working which should have been enough. The problem was not cold sobs it was hot and hot is usually slower already. I just want to say they worked hard and all of ours subs were AWESOME!!!!! I think they were overwhelmed without the manager and lots of people left and some asked for their money back and others waited over an hour for med steak and cheese. 6 months ago I rated this place a 5 stars. Last night it was so bad how they treated us we had to leave a one star. When we first got there last night it was around 7:20. The staff was sweeping. We thought it was time to close but it stayed open until 9pm. Su we have enough time. There was a nice new guy that was being trained. The guy with the pink hair was okay but the girl with the super long braids named Layla was the absolute Pitts! She was super rude and especially after she didn't earn a tip from us she got extra rude. Left our sandwiches on counter and rang us up. Not all the sandwiches were there and we asked where the other one was. She rudely replied it was still on the grill. OK cool.. she didn't have to be rude... we're not mind readers.. told us in an impolite tone to go sit down. Than when our last sandwich was done she just left it on counter with other people's food, didn't bother to tell us that was ours. Then when we asked for a bag she rudely set one out on the counter and didn't bother to put our sandwiches in it. She didn't thank us for coming in.. nothing just plain rudeness.. we live right up the street.. we like to eat local..if she's there.. we're turning around and going...

1st timer, went in today ordered a reg size #13 Italian Mikes way, and a Giant Size BLT. Both on Rosemary Bread, which was excellent. The #13 was excellent, but the BLT was meh, being first time I didn't realize it would be cold BLT( and Bacon was very charred, and a lot of small pieces). Nor did I realize the Sizing of the sandwiches. I was fully able to eat both of them wuthout issue, but didn't know the Giant is a full loaf. 😅. They cur Giant into 4ths and the reg in half. This was perfectly acceptable and made it manageable, only gripe with the cut was the bottom piece of bread was untouched on both sandwiches (all 4 cuts) I just tore it in half, but kinda made a mess doing to. Highly recommend the #13, BLT no so much. Those 2 sandwiches and lrg drink was slightly was $29 and change incase anyone wondered.
