What we got: -French onion fondue -steak tartare -steak frites with au poivre sauce
Everything was amazing. Both appetizers were recommended by our waiter, and we loved them. The bread with the fondue is heavenly, and the chips with the steak tartare are addictive. We split the steak frites for an entree and would recommend the au poivre sauce choice. The sauce is so good, especially with the fries, and there was so much of it (in a good way) which isn’t always the case with this dish at other places. Perfectly cooked steak and frites, and only $30! Other places with subpar results come in at least $15+ in comparison, so this is a great value. The wines were on the pricier side, more so for the prices for a glass, not as much bottles, but all were great choices that we enjoyed.
The service was great. Both our waiter and the sommelier that helped us were very personable and knowledgeable. We immensely enjoyed our dinner here and cannot wait to come back.
The ambience is also great as there is so much to look at and it’s...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences. We made reservations but when we arrived, we were sat at a "temporary table" by the bar because our table wasn't ready. After waiting without asked if we'd like a drink in the meantime for 15 minutes, we were escorted to the dinning area as if our table was ready, it wasn't. We were then awkwardly placed near the bathroom while they made our table presentable. Then when the table was ready, no one sat us. We sat there staring at our then ready table, so we just sat ourselves. It took an hour and half to get our food!!!....and during that hour and a half there was a party of maybe 20 people laughing and talking so loud it was deafening. I could not hear my wife say anything without leaning over the table to hear. Then when our food arrived, the steak I had ordered was so salty I was sick to my stomach half way through it. Mind you, a $60 steak. I'll never go back. Also, not the restaurants fault but the people sitting next to us were crying the whole...
Read moreM Pepper’s is a charming new French gem in the heart of the Highlands, blending eclectic style with a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, Preston, our attentive and personable server, made the evening feel special.
The French onion fondue starter was rich, savory, and perfectly paired with fresh, crusty baguette bread that was simply irresistible. My rye bourbon Old Fashioned was balanced and smooth, a great start to the evening. For my entrée, the roasted chicken was wonderfully juicy, accompanied by a rich and tangy French au jus that added depth to every bite. My dining guest’s steak frites was expertly cooked, complemented by a bold horseradish aioli that elevated the classic dish.
With delicious food, excellent service, and a calming ambiance, M Pepper’s delivers a truly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an intimate French-inspired meal in...
