McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Louisville

I have ate at various McAlister's for many years. The food honestly sells itself. With that being said, I use Grub hub a lot and must have spent WELL over 1,000 in the past year for McAlister's food from Dixie for my family of 5. It seems each and every order the past 4 or 5 orders there is a problem with sauces. In my notes to the restaurant today I asked for chipotle sauce to overflowing. Normally that gets me the correct amount it should come with anyway. The manager called me and said she cannot do that as I would have to pay for the sauces. I said well add the normal amount today since I cannot alter a grub hub order after it is sent. So my 4 potatoes 2 of which are chipotle chicken potatoes arrive and everything is on the potatoes except there is not even a drop of chipotle sauce on the chipotle ones. I mean I can only assume that was designed to be a silent nice nasty message to me the consumer that if you want extra sauce then you will get absolutely none since I had to pick up a phone and call you and you didn't PAY for it. Well if they weren't so chintzy with sauces we wouldn't have to free form notes. Any way I will never patronize the Dixie location again. I rarely write reviews but today was super annoying, it felt intentional. They are going to miss my dollars. The food sells itself. All you gotta do is have good...

We sat down and decided to order table side since the line was long. Positive thing that I can say is they were very busy but our food was hot and out to us within 15 mins. However they gave us cut up pickle pieces. I’m not sure why the pickles weren’t whole. I’ve never had them like this on my plate. It was kind of weird almost as if they were mad we did table side instead of ordering at the front counter but signs everywhere in the place encouraged this at the tables. The lady gave us our cups laying on our food plates and says here’s your drink cups. We figured since we asked for tea there’s tea behind their counter they would just fill them up for us and bring them but she was kind of rude in basically saying do it yourself even though their prices have went up to pay workers. I feel anymore as if you are giving less and charging way more. I don’t mind paying a little bit more because of the inflation however giving less makes you look cheap. I barely had any meat on the Memphian sandwich that I got. It was basically all bread. I just think for the amount of money you pay for a lunch place that has ham sandwiches, chips and soup they should...

I went to the location on Dixie highway for the first time 2 days ago. I thought the food was great. So I decided to go back again yesterday around 5pm. My son called and ordered my salad for me. I stopped there and picked up my salad after work. When I got home I started to eat the salad. First I found a bunch of long hairs in my salad from a females head. I looked around some more and I found pieces of plastic in the salad. There was so much plastic that it had to be purposely done. It was disgusting. I called back and talked to the manager. She told me to bring the salad back and she would make it again her self. I brought the salad back and showed her the hairs and the plastic. She apologized a couples times and made me another salad. Now its the next day and I feel sick. I plan on reporting that store to the health department. I might even contact a lawyer. I will not be eating...
