This is the closest Qdoba near my house & I will unfortunately NEVER return to this location. There is a younger red headed manager (didn’t get her name) that works here, who is extremely hostile towards customers. The food is usually decent but I can’t look past the way I was screamed at by this young girl. I am the most anti-confrontational person you could ever imagine…the manager was so aggressive towards me that her hands were SHAKING with anger as she spoke to me & handled my food. I no longer feel safe or welcome inside of this establishment, to place any sort of food order. I don’t even trust that I can place an online/to-go order, as I fear that my food may be tampered with if she’s working at that time. I understand more than most, that help is hard to come by nowadays… but it seems like the majority of their employees are young kids who think they can get away with anything. I also think this stems from the fact that Qdoba has franchised out… I have a strong feeling that with having no corporate to contact they now run their stores more “loosely” with the mindset that things can be “swept under the rug”? I talked to the district manager for the store (Nathaniel I believe) and he assured me that he would handle the situation stating, “this is not how we run our stores”. However, I can only imagine what good it will truly even do. Leading a hostile working environment like the one she managed last night could have led to something horrible had I been an aggressive and/or mentally unstable person.
Bottom line, if you’re ever craving some qdoba and this is your closest location- do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to the next...
Read moreI rarely eat "fast food" because most of it is just over priced poison, but I will occasionally treat myself to Qdoba since the ingredients and quality seems better than most of their competitors. I visited the Bardstown rd and Eastern pwky location, the only Qdoba I've ever stepped foot in. The person at the counter was nice. I had questions about the new protein option they had as well as what some of the sauces were and how spicy they would be. These kind of questions probably get annoying to the employees so I appreciated the answers and good attitude. I even asked for some extra chips, and was obliged. It wasn't the staff or the location I had an issue with. It was the quality, or should I say lack of quality, of the food I received. I got my order to go and walked about 10 mins home. I had ordered nachos, but wanted my chips separate. I'm so glad I did that because the chips absolutely ruined the meal. I don't know how old the grease they were cooked in was, but it tasted like the dinosaurs used the same batch of chip grease before becoming carbon deposits. My bill was $17 SEVENTEEN DOLLARS!!! for food that was mostly inedible. I don't know what's going on with the quality control at that location but I was so disappointed. I had like 2 bites and couldn't eat anymore. I'm bummed too, because I spent a lot of money to have a little treat and instead I got tricked. Unless qboda tries to make this right, this will probably be the last time I ever go there. Spending almost 20 bucks for disgusting, dirty tasting, old tasting food that I couldn't even eat is not my...
Read moreUpdate, 9/11/23: Qdoba tried to do the right thing and sent me a gift card for a free entree, which is appreciated. Though I tried to come back in at 7pm on a weekday, and it was the same situation as before: One supremely overworked person on the line trying to handle in-person and doordash, the line backed up halfway to the door, and me waiting 30+ minutes just to place my order. Hope the greedy owner's extra profits from understaffing are worth it, because I'm never coming back. Qdoba is great, but avoid this one like the plague
I love Qdoba, and I'm always full every time I go and enjoy the flavors. But this location has an extremely greedy owner who purposefully understaffs their restaurant and continues running out of ingredients. The last three times I've gone there's been just one person on the line and one person cooking, and the lone cashier/cook has pile of grubhub/doordash/ubereats orders to prepare and I've had to stand at the line for 10-15 minutes before I can get served. I don't blame the workers, they're scrambling as fast as they can and doing their best, I blame the inexplicably greedy franchise owner whose refusal to keep enough people employed to keep up with demand is literally costing customers, because I'm never going back to this location. The greedy owner...
