Came here yesterday, ordered a simple smashed cheeseburger with the chili cheese fries. The look of the food when looking from google is good but the taste not the same it may look good in the picture but the taste was nothing special but all ordinany, my food was brought to me 40 mins late and i was doing a carry out. When i look at how they packaged my food it was very odd i dont understand the reasoning of just throwing my fires in the bag with no container and the best part is the chili was package in a seperated plastic bowl and the cheese was package seperatly. The bag became very greasy bc of the fires and when i got home i had pretty much prepare this weird packaged food in my own plate and reheat the the chili cheese fires so i can somewhat make it look like the picture from the google but even then it didnt look good and the taste was flavor less no kick from the chili the cheese was like cottage cheese doesnt melt easlily. And the burger plain taste flavor less no seasoning. this is only a drunk foood when you dont have your taste buds activited. And dont get your food to go. Eat it their maybe the food might be look better when they bring it out or else the packaging i experienced was a nightmare. Its common sense to prepare the food as how it was order not make it into a kit ! And please find better packing for fries. Seems as they are trying really hard to become 5 guys honestly, 5guys donât even throw the fries in the bag they first put it in the fry bowl or container and then over load it with more fires , 5 guys food is much much better. They is just a drunk food lol. I know you guys...
Read moreWe stopped by on our way through Louisville at the recommendation of a local friend. Since we have a baby and needed to get home, we decided to get takeout. They weren't taking online orders due to how busy they were. No problem; I went inside and ordered at the bar. Bartender was friendly and took my order quickly. I paid, and then was told it'd be 20-25 minutes for my food. We ordered two vegan cheeseburgers and one order of fries. Perfect, we'll walk around outside and get the baby to sleep. At the 20 minute mark, we went inside and asked if our order was ready and they said ours was next. We stood waiting in the pickup area for another 25 minutes with two other customers who also had obviously been waiting longer than expected. At the 45 minute mark of waiting for takeout, we were irritated and didn't seem like the staff was eager to help us figure out the issue. Upon digging into the food, the burgers were not hot and the cheese was completely unmelted. Really underwhelming for supposedly the best burger place in Louisville. The fries were really good though, hot, crispy, and a little sweet. The servers seemed irritated and disgruntled. I worked in food service for over 4 years and understand the stress of a busy service. But mumbling irritations under your breath as you walk by paying customers isn't classy. If we had time to sit and wait, we would have loved to enjoy the atmosphere. The outdoor patio looked so fun! Maybe if we weren't vegan and chose a regular burger, we'd have had a different experience. But still, if you offer vegan food, at least...
