Update: I wrote the following review before I looked at all the other reviews for this restaurant.𤣠Apparently my visit was typical! Judging by what I heard them talking about him, what people are saying and these other comments, this is more a management problem. There's a bad culture here.
Food was good. Hopefully my visit wasn't typical, but I just made it inside before they closed the doors. I'm a truck driver and I couldn't use the drive-thru, But they were apparently short-handed and were closing the dining room as a result.
I never quite understand this decision when I see it. Why do you need more than one person to run the drive-thru and the counter? Just run them both as if they're the same thing. Take an order from one side, take an order from the other. Take the next order when you're done with the one before. Might take longer, but if you communicate as you're taking orders that things are taking a little longer than usual, things will generally go pretty well.
Anyway. Besides that, which really didn't affect me since I got in before they locked the door, It did take about 5 minutes for me to get my order taken while they scrambled around. Looking for the tool that locked the front doors and took care of that. And I had to listen to him complain about so and so and so and so not showing up, But they eventually managed to make my food. Hopefully when you go you show up to a happy staff in an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām just now leaving From this location and they were Understaffed today so I definitely was being very patient. I had a positive attitude about them taking a while with my food however the person who checked me out had The nerve to have an impatient attitude towards me checking my food before pulling off. I asked if I could add on an additional drink to my meal she told me I couldnāt so I understood it. so I started to check my food because my kids eat very particular and I asked for no onions on my sandwich they still add them. She came back to the window to see why I was still there and then I told her about the sandwiches she told me that they scraped off most of the onions that they could see they cook the burgers in them, then she shut the window. so I continue to check the rest of my food and she came back to the window and said what else is wrong in an aggressive tone. I told her all Iām doing is checking my food before I pull off is that OK she said I mean I just have a line and youāre holding it up and I told her that her line would be perfectly fine and she proceeds to slam the window and say stuff underneath her breath behind the window as if I canāt hear as a customer. Your franchise should definitely take awareness on the people that you are hiring if they are not good under pressure and they should not be in positions to deal...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeing originally from Louisville one of the main things planned was visiting a White Castle first thing. It has been 38 years since I have been in Louisville and in any White Castle. I have craved them since forever. But it is true, "You can never go home again". A disappointment to say the least. Walked in and the first thing you notice is the awful odor coming from who knows where. The young lady that served me was a really nice girl and that at least was excellent. Got the food and coffee quickly. Everything different from what was once a wonderful memory of the older WhiteCastles of so long ago. The counter around the prep area where you would sit on stools to enjoy your visit with friends and friendly banter with the counter servers, "Gone". The scent of freshly brewed coffee and fresh grilled onions, "Gone". The once excellent coffee, freshly brewed and hot, "Gone". And worst of all, the fresh burger patties grilled with fresh chopped onions, "Gone!". Such a disappointment. The frozen microwavable burgers from your local Supermarket, far...
