Taco Bell — Restaurant in Louisville

Taco Bell is Taco Bell, love it or hate it. It's definitely good for a quick drive thru option, especially for larger orders. They are very quick and friendly at this location. I like that they put your order on the screen before you proceed to the window for payment, sometimes I order a treat for my senior dog as she is 15 years old and deserves to enjoy "human foods." No it doesn't make her sick as long as I ask for things like soft taco only ground beef and cheese. Any rate if I were to have one complaint it is that the value menu is very small now, back in the 80s/ early 90s, it was a special treat to get to pick items off of the 69/79/99 cent menu. Yeah, I know inflation, etc. Still a cool time. The other complaint, minor as it is, did TB get rid of the tostada? It is kind of critical to the crunch wrap supreme, which I ordered and in place of the tostada shell was another tortilla. It should probably be called the softshell tacowrap surpreme if no crunch is there.

Always positive - I usually stop by on Wednesdays or Thursdays around 10pm (when other places would be slow, closed or unfriendly) but my experiences at this Taco Bell are always really good. Efficient, friendly, food is always good and orders are correct.

Last night a young gentleman named Joel (Joelle, Joe L, something like that) was super helpful and kind, just generally seemed happy to be at work. I asked if a limited time menu was available, it wasn't, and he went above and beyond to suggest a similar item that's on the menu permanently. Then, when I got to the window he gave me the inside scoop on when the seasonal item would be in the store. Just a friendly chill dude who made a 10pm fast food visit enjoyable.

Ive had similar experiences with others on their night crew and all are pleasant and helpful. People like this ought to be celebrated more often.

First I'll start with I love this location. Food is consistently good, put together well, quick service, and nice staff. So overall I give it a 4 or 5 star rating.

Today however was different. I normally get breakfast at this location slightly after 10, so I pulled in to do the same today. They informed me that they are not doing breakfast at this time. I asked if the time had changed and when it changed (Just for my knowledge so I don't miss it again), and the worker just repeated herself and didn't even want to entertain the question. So I ordered lunch instead and when I got to the drive through the woman sighed and rolled her eyes after seeing me. Kinda disheartening. However, the food was fine.

Morale of the post is that even the best locations can have off days...
