I stopped by the Logan street market to get something to eat with my two sons, whom are 5 and 8 years old. There are many choices, however the smell of Chef Ziba's smoked salmon drew us to Zita's Bistro. I and my son L.H had the Bistro Cheeseburger, and my son R.C had the Smoked and fresh salmon, saffron sauce with tagliatelle both choices were amazing, so much so that the next day we were on the Floyds Fork canoeing and my son kept asking me if we could stop and get that special Zita-burger-LOL. This Louisville foodie says this is a must taste!

1. My favorite meal is the Eggplant Parmesan. 2. I also love the Brussel sprouts. 3. The vegetarian platter is another choice I love with black eyed peas, Brussel sprouts & Langston caponata vegetables. 4. Chef Ziba is very friendly and very passionate about cooking. 5. Logan street market is a great place to visit and eat at Ziba’s. 6. There is a menu hung up that you can look at all the choices. 7. I also love the penne entree which is made with 4 cheeses. 8. The black eyed peas are delicious. 9. Clean location. 10. Friendly staff.

Went here for brunch with the hubby! It was amazing! My husband said it was the best chicken and waffles he has had in a while. I ordered the catfish and grits. The fish was fried perfectly, and the grits were creamy paired with a flavorful sauce. The flavor profile of this dish was phenomenal! Each dish was $18 and worth every penny. We will come back here for sure!

Wow, only word to describe the food here. I had a Bistro burger and fries but honestly it was one of the tastiest burgers and fries I've ever had. Also had a side of ratatouille which was phenomenal. What was most surprising was my wife had eggplant parmesan and it rivaled any eggplant parm we've had anywhere else. You could tell they cook with love here. When I stopped by the counter to tell them how impressed we all were with the food the chef personally asked what I had and was very appreciative. That was so refreshing because you could tell he loved his work. I told my wife the eggplant parm could have been on the cover of a culinary magazine. Like I said, they cook with love and it shows. This restaurant is in a building with several other eateries too and a nice looking bar which we didn't get a chance to sample. Shared seating space with other eateries. Parking is on the road for this building. Fantastic food and my wife and I will frequent this restaurant for future...

Ziba's Bistro is a hidden gem. Venture into Logan Street Market and you'll find this local favorite and its charming chef and owner, Ziba himself! Chef Ziba has an incredible story that reflects in the international appeal of his unique dishes. Fusing the influences of African, French, Italian, and American flavors, Ziba creates mouthwatering meals and serves them with a friendly smile. Seriously, this guy is one of the warmest, most optimistic people I have ever met! I love introducing him and his food to family, friends, and co-workers looking for a bite to eat. I recommend the Tiguedigue Chicken (a chicken and rice dish served with green and red peppers in a creamy peanut butter sauce) or the Black Eyed Peas de Tiare (stewed black eyed peas in a tomato-based sauce). Support a great local business by trying Ziba's! Louisville is lucky to have such a...

I always have such a hard time deciding what to eat at Logan Street Market because of the sheer abundance of options. Never again will I second guess my choice, it will always be Ziba's! I ordered the blackened salmon and grits for myself, and a cheeseburger kid's plate for my daughter. The salmon and grits dish was perfect!! It was flavorful, but not too seasoned, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. My daughter loved her food and the portion was a very comfortable amount, not too much or too little, for an 8 year old. The woman working was extremely nice and prepared the food with care. She recognized me on the way out and asked if I liked the dish I ordered, to which I shared my high praises with her as well. I would recommend eating here a thousand times over! Great...
