This is a cool store but my experience in there was very bizarre. I came in on May 7, 2024 from Nashville and was in Louisville just for the day, and as a music fan I wanted a record store to check out. I saw this one on Google and decided to stop in.
I was in the store for almost 40 minutes and the entire time, the lone clerk at the desk was on the phone with DoorDash because he was angry about his food not showing up, and was often cursing in between phone calls while trying to either get his food delivered or his money back. It made for a strange shopping experience.
I certainly sympathize with the kind of situation the man was in as I've been in it myself, and for what it's worth, the clerk was very nice when ringing me up. However, given that I had to listen to the whole exchange while browsing the store, I'm not totally sure I'll be back in next time...

Whenever I travel I visit record stores, and out of the 6-8 places I visited in Louisville Better Days had the most vinyl, had the best selection, and was the most organized. The prices are little higher, but so is the quality. You will definitely find some hidden gems here. Large selection of blues, jazz, soul and funk, and of course pop/rock. Definitely saw some DJ promo, 12" single, and other one-off selections here I had never seen before. ...
