My husband and I have ordered take out here several times and have always enjoyed the food, so we decided to go here for lunch on Sunday.
Restaurant atmosphere: We were seated beside the bar (we didn't ask to sit there or want to sit there) and there were large TVs everywhere I looked with five TVs directly in front of me. If I wanted to watch TV while eating, I would eat at home. The music was also very loud which made it difficult for us to have a conversation. There was a family seated in the booth next to ours who were extremely loud and obnoxious. They were using Facetime and carrying on loud conversations, and using strong profanity. They also jostled the bench seat (connected to my seat) multiple times, so my seat kept getting bumped.
Cleanliness: The menus (kept at the table) were grimy. I'm not sure if they ever get cleaned. I had to step around food on the floor while walking to the restroom, and the restroom floor was very sticky. Disgusting.
Service: When we placed our order, I asked about the ingredients in the chili. Our server did not know the answer, but I do appreciate that she went and checked and then came back to let me know the answer. Overall, though, she was not very attentive. I understand that most restaurants are understaffed, but I could see her leaning against the bar drinking water. She didn't check in on us to see if we needed anything/if the food was okay unless we flagged her down. Our drink glasses were empty for much of the meal. I ordered the bottomless soup/salad/chips, but never had the option to refill my soup which sat empty for at least twenty minutes. When we finally got our server's attention to refill our drinks, she brought them and ran off again before I could ask for more soup. I would not have ordered that if I had known it wouldn't get refilled. She never came back to see if we needed anything else/wanted dessert/needed a box, etc. By that point, we were about ready to go and decided it wasn't worth waiting to try to get her attention again.
Food: The food was very tasty, as has always been our experience with take out from here.
We will continue to order take out, but will likely never...
Read moreThe last few times I have been to this location, have been a huge disappointment. I usually go for the luncheon specials (before 4pm). I was hungry and against my better judgement, went around 8:30 on a Friday night. It was very busy. For some reason, they changed the menu. You can no longer choose a side with your overpriced fajitas. I wanted a salad and fries. They offered (cold) beans and rice. I decided to pay extra for the fries and salad. I was told they were $1.99 each. That wasn't true. The salad was $3.99. Since I had come from the gym and it was late, I was very hungry. That's why I ordered a salad, so I wouldn't be waiting for my food. WHY then, the last THREE TIMES I was there, do they bring the salad WITH the fajitas? I don't want them at the same time. I said something to the waiter. He said it was his fault. It's funny, he was my waiter last time. So I guess it was his fault last time. 👹 Then, he brought no accompaniments for the fajitas. So, I had to wait for those. I didn't eat my salad, I took it home because I wanted to eat my hot food first. That was getting cold while I WAITED for the cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pica and salsa. WTH? I ate a few fries. They were good, but after the gym, I didn't want fries for dinner. I finally got the "fixings" for the chicken fajitas. There was a lot of chicken. That's why I like the lunch portion. Too much food and too much money for the dinner without the sides I want. For $16, you should be able to get $1.99 fries instead of soupy cold beans and rice. When I finally had some chicken, I bit into a joint ball. It was big and disgusting. I have never had gristle or joint balls at Chili's before in my chicken. Someone didn't clean the meat properly. So, because of the price, bad service and the lousy food, I will probably never go again. I only gave it two stars because the luncheon specials are usually very good, depending upon who waits on you, and who...
Read moreThe waitress was really nice but wow the manager or whatever completely judged me I ordered one drink and one my second drink I took two sips and decided to cuddle on my bf and he took my drink saying I drank too much. Are u serious? I only really drank one drink I’ve never had this happen. These people judged me maybe cuz I’m black I don’t know. Disgusting all around. I’m never coming bscj due to the prejudice of the staff l. Not even to mention the forgot out deserts and told us to leave the area. Just gross treat ur customers better so maybe I’ll tip the waitress
UPDATE: went back w my bf it was good at first we got our food quick everything was yummy. Except the forgot all my sauces. Didn’t sauxdbiijhnThe waitress was helpful but as soon as it came to pay the manager was so rude hovering over me while I was just trying to give the girl a tip. Seems like a he was retaliating after he realized I look had a credit due to bad service. Once I left and everything was all well. We were out front waiting for our Lyfts. He watched the whole time from the inside. And becuz we previously smoked a cigarette from before he ran outside and told us we are not allowed to open doors for patrons a poliete thing to do. So I guess figuring how to tip ur waitress and waiting outside is loitering. I get it’s Lowell but don’t discriminate customers and people you don’t know. He needs an ethics class quickly. I’ve never in my life been treated like this and it’s extremely hurtful. -Michàel Arbasetti Work on ur customer service skills manager or not ur causing ur waitresses to lose money. Sadly this is the only chillis close to us and it’s sad that I can no longer go...
