Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lower Allen

Very few flavor choices (I chalked it up to covid related restrictions getting vendor products in, but who knows?). Flavors that are similar to competitors seem lacking in comparison. It wasn't terrible, but we drove past 3 local ice cream places to visit this location and were very disappointed. Also, my brother's scoop slid right off the cone as we walked to the car (it may have been the heat I assume and the angle it was scooped onto the cone) and was made to pay for a whole new icream when he went back to the window. Not very good customer satisfaction. Staff seemed pretty young so they probably don't understand that an extra few scoops of icecream in exchange may have changed the whole experience around. Dont go 10 minutes before closing on Friday. They will service you but you regret going there and your mood to eat ice cream on a hot summer weekend will be spoiled. To top that you have to pay for bad customer service and pick your choice from mediocre flavors. Kid was disappointed that the sundae is not available. Why to keep doors open if they are not willing to serve.? Better close 10 or 15 mins ahead and do your cleaning. The attitude of server last night was too bad. We asked to explain a flavor ( which is not in board) and when we asked to give chocolate ice cream she explains its chocolate 😡 come on …. She served us stuff as if we are buying for free and we dont know what ice cream is.

Unfortunately changing my review. We have been going here for four almost five years and have always had such great service and delicious ice cream. Tonight thought my husband ordered a large shake that was almost just straight up milk. It was absolutely disgusting. My son got a vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles maybe a few sprinkles on top he is 4 and was sad because usually it's covered in sprinkles. I ordered a quart of ice cream to go and I'm lucky if there are three scoops of ice cream in there. The entire bottom has nothing in it. I have ordered 1/2 gallons more times than I can count and they always ALWAYS fill them puppies full full. Such a waist of...
