DON'T GO. My wife and I stopped for dinner. We are very easy going as costumers; but of course we find the flaws. Before you read my review, and judge me; I will like to say that I jave been traveling around three continents, and I am very experienced on the F&B industry. Now with that said, let's begin.... The place looks ok, is just an average bar. It was almost empty (inside and outside). We sat on the bar. The place was way too cold inside, the vents throw straight cold air over your neck, when you sit at the bar. Mat, the bartender, gave us the heads up, that the kitchen has only 30 minutes before it close. Fair enough, we order a wuick bite. We go to the drinks. I do not drink Pepsi, and he was nice enough to let me know that was the soda on their fountain. My wife ordered a "Blueberry Lemon Drop", as the law demands, Mat ask for her ID before he prepared the drink....and a strange blue drink on a martini glass came up. (?) Ovbiusly had blue curacao not even blueberry vodka. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO SOMETHING, ASK OR DON'T DO IT. After a few minutes, my wife didn't want to drink "that"; so with the untouched full glass on the counter; she ordered something of the menu, but replacing the vodka for a blueberry vodka. On this chance...AGAIN she get a blue drink; don't need to be a genius to know that has blue curacao AGAIN. She hardly drink it. Keep that on mind, untill the end of this review. Then the food came... The chips with blue cheese are really good!!! I ordered a Hangover burger, with some extras, and no complains with that so far. My wife order some kind of wrap with meat, and on the menu, said cheddar cheese; she ordered with blue cheese instead. WELL, it came out with cheddar (!). We ate, my wife couldn't drink the first cocktail AT ALL. I just drank a lime soda. I know enough to jeopardize my dinner or drink. ;-) We finish eating, we ask for a box for our leftovers. At this point, Mat didn't put any attention to us, for a fair 10 minutes, he were over his phone on the cornwr of the counter. Minutes after, 2 girls and 1 guy came into the bar... barelly over their 20's. Mat serve drinks to them, without ask for any ID. My wife and I are on our middle 30's to 40's. He served the alcohol to this group and we got our bill. He never ask to us about the full glass of blue liquid what we left on the counter. We got charged for two cocktails, because his negligence. We just pay and left. I encourage you as a costumer, to avoid this bad moment and simply avoud this place. I encourage to the people in charge or owners, to train your personel, because that is a short review of what I saw on that place. I am a bartender with more than 17 years on this. Not only as a bartender, owner ans bussiness man. I am not making this up. And because this kind of places, I write reviews. This is not my first and it won't be my last. I have more to say, but if you want to know more, please, write me to my...
Read moreI hate giving bad reviews, but I will never go back. THE BAD: The waitress was border line rude but I always give maybe it was a bad day, cause everyone was is allowed to have one, but there is a point. (Still tipped her cause we are not jerks) 2) They were out of so much food. They said they were having a hard time getting stuff - but it seemed like it was everything on the menu, and there comes a point just tell us what you do have. 3) My daughter didn't like her lemonade, which I thought was weird - so I tried it, it was so watered down, that yes, it tasted weird and awful. We cut her juice at home to reduce sugar that was a spritz of juice with 95% water. Thanks for charging me for water ... (at this point most people would not have left a tip) 4) 10 wings were 18 dollars. She tried to us this is standard for the area (why would you even say that..?) - and they were HORRIBLE. We ate wings out recently, tasted good and NOT 18 bucks. Not sure why this place was raved about, because honestly there was no incentive to go back. THE GOOD: the drinks were good, but my mixed drink lacked the whiskey portion. There was no bite, it was pretty obvious the ratio was off - so maybe stick to beer if you go here - and don't order food? On our way out we asked another couple thier experience, it didn't seem like it was unpleasant like ours, but when we said wings they basically said go anywhere else but here. I plan to just go to another place that doesn't make excuses or charge me for "juice" . (Just tell me your out and I will get the water) essentially, i loved my company I was with, but I will never go back here as there are many other places priced similar or cheaper with better service and definitely better...
Read more08/28/22. Haven't been there in quite a while. Was riding, & decided to stop in . Went to deck (nice out), ordered a draft, bartender immediately said price for draft. Didn't ask if I wanted a Tab. Also Never asked if I wanted a menu! Instead, upon paying, she went over to group of 4 older individuals (regulars, I assume, able to have control of TV remote), & held convo with them. Never once came back around to ask if I wanted to order food, or another drink! Unknowing to her, I Was originally going to order food, & yes, drink more. I had $100.00 (within), to spend @ Flinckey's, but left bad taste in my mouth (so to speak), from the lack of service, attention, & personality, so, I drank my beverage & left! Maybe if I wasn't "profiled" & treated equally (across the board), as Any customer should be, walking through the doors of the business. ANY patron (regular, or stopping by), should be treated with the expectation they might spend $5.00, or $100.00, the same respect, & offered the very same...No matter. Because (especially Post-Pan), Every patron is revenue for the business! Any business.Today saddened me as a customer, especially returning after a breech. I hope that the staff is made aware that "every patron" is important, & get treated the same, contradictory to personal feelior assumptions. In closing, I will be back one more time, & give 2nd chance to business. Hopefully the adjustments will be made, & I have a much better experience....
