Unique Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lower Chichester Township

I've come here twice for lunch. It's usually empty and I'm helped immediately which is nice. Let me quickly say, the food has been GREAT both times. Really good food, however; this last time ordering, I took my food home only to be immensely disappointed to find that the steamed mixed vegetables with shrimp; had absolutely no shrimp. I felt gilted and a little angry to have paid as much as I did for zero protein...I am FAR from vegan or vegetarian and prioritize my animal protein intake LOL. Next time I will take the time to check my bag before leaving. It's odd as well because in all my years of eating American-Chinese food, my orders have never been wrong. I'm 30 years old so that should say something. It wasn't much consolation but they did give me a free tea with my order (before I knew about the shrimp). Anyway, I definitely recommend this place for the taste & quality of the food but ensure you are communicating your order properly to ensure total satisfaction.

Edit: I had to come back and take a star away for the same reason I complained of before. I went back a third time hoping for a better experience but I found communicating my order seemed difficult (person may have been new) and then after it was all said and done, instead of receiving the Pepper Steak that I ordered, I received Beef and Broccoli. I don't know what it is but I've never had my orders messed up so frequently at a single place. Could be something I'm doing wrong but I just don't think I'll be going...

I love this place.....I don't eat extravagant Chinese food so honesty most of it all tastes the same to me no matter where I get it from, with a few exceptions. What I enjoy about Unique is the service you get. The man who runs the counter ( and maybe the business) is very friendly and courteous. Additionally, unlike a few other places around here that threw up saran wrap over the doors with a table in the doorway, this place build an acrylic barrier complete with an intercom and drawer to ease the fears of people picking up their food. I have never had bad food from here... and if I should one day, I'd give them another chance because of...

I am super impressed with their COVID precautions! They've redone the storefront so you don't even have to go into the restaurant. Their front door has a big plexiglass front with a compartment. They have a walkie talkie set up to let them know what your order is, they open a door on their side to a compartment, then close it so you can open your side with zero contact.
