I used to love this place but not anymore. I went there a few months ago with my husband. I ordered the fajitas which were delicious. My husband ordered beef tacos. They were plated on top of the beans so the bottom one was soggy. He ordered a coke but when they gave him a refill they swapped with diet. These things minor not that big of a deal. When our check came there was a problem. We were charged for his free refills, the soft shells that were supposed to be included with the fajita meal and for extra cheese that we never received. When we said something to the cashier she just stared at us. A manager came over and we had to "prove" that we didn't get the cheese and show him the menu that states soft shells come with meal. He finally removed the extra charges off our bill but had an attitude. We decided maybe it was a fluke and went back last night. That was a mistake!!! Again the food was very soggy and the chicken was very dry. I couldn't even pick up the tostada because it was so soggy. My husbands soda was once again swapped for a diet on his refill. When our check came, we were overcharged again. When my husband took the check to the manager to say we were overcharged for our combos the manager said, oh the price went up, see it's in the new menu. My husband then said well, we weren't given these new menus and showed him the menu that the staff was giving to all the customers (they were stacked on the table directly in front of him so he knew that they were using old menus). He refused to honor the price on the menu that we ordered from. We paid the bill but won't be back ever again. Even though it was only $3, it's the principal of the matter. If they do this to 100 customers per day that is $300 they scammed out of their customers daily. That is shady business. Why not just use the new menus and be honest up front with...

First off...VERY CLEAN!! When we went to pick up there were notices everywhere including a nice detailed notice of their cleanliness procedures. The guy that handed me the food had just washed his hands, I felt very safe picking up there. PLUS!! If you prefer not to go in, there's a number on the front door for curbside pickup.
So with that out of the way, our order came with fresh house-made chips and very good puree-style salsa. For the main course we got the tex-mex fajitas, half chicken half beef, to split between 2 of us. Came with rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, guac, and sour cream. The meats, peppers, and onions were perfectly cooked and a large portion.
We also got the botana grande, basically appetizer sampler. Quesadilla was pretty good, nicely melted cheese across the whole bottom of the container (in a good way, still plenty in the 'dilla). Chicken "wings" are tenders that are excellent, 'nuff said. Taquitos were perfectly fried and the chicken inside was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The meat at either end was pretty toasty but that's how taquitos come, they're deep fried. Huge portion of a-freakin-mazing pico, lots of cilantro and jalapeños so it has a little kick. Lastly, the container with a bunch of sour cream and guac, which is also really, really good.
The last thing we got was the cheese sauce, thinking it was their designation for queso. For the most part yes but it was cold, like fridge temp. That being said, it heated up well and was great with all of our variety of food, which ended up being wayyy more than we could eat!
Stay safe, but still enjoy great food while getting out of the house for a...
Read moreParking was easy, plenty of parking up front, and more in the back of the place. This is a stand alone building right off Philadelphia Pike. Pretty big place inside with a small bar area. We sat at the bar, the service was good. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. I wasn't impressed with the low number of meat selections on the menu.
I ordered the house Marg. It had a hint of tart, and a weird taste that I couldn't place. Not the worst, but not that great either. The bar looked like it had around 20 tequilas to choose from.
I ordered Botana Grande: flautas, chicken fingers, cheese quesadilla, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeño poppers, pico de gallo. $11.50. Flautas...chicken almost dry, but not. Fried perfectly and good with the guac and fresh pico. Chicken fingers...probably some of the best I've eaten. Cheese quesadilla...bland city, cheese not melted. I'm not a fan of mozz cheese in a quesadilla. Jalapeno popper...just ok, I've had much better frozen store bought. Pico de gallo was outstanding!!! Guac was solid too, could use more cilantro for my liking.
I ordered COMBINATION ENCHILADAS: Four combination enchiladas: 1 chicken, 1 cheese, 1 bean, 1 beef, with salad. $11.75. Beef...ok Chicken...ok Bean...fair Cheese...rubbery. The tortillas tasted like they weren't cooked long enough, the red sauce isn't very tasty, and I wasn't digging the mozz in these dishes.
I ordered a chicken tamale. It was ok, again with the red sauce, almost tasting like a spaghetti o's sauce. The masa was decent, the chicken again almost...
