Rude all around. We went into the Tavern and were told they were closing and opening up the deck. When I asked how to get there, the bartender clearly gets this question a lot and said you need to go 180 from here. When I tried to ask a question about the fact that there is a privacy fence that says Lehigh County Authority on it, instead of saying, oh, yeah you go around that fence, he continued to just belittle me by saying thatās 90, you need to go 180, go 180, see if this is 12 oāclock, you only went to 9 oāclock, see this is 3 oāclock, and you need to go to 6 oāclock, blah, blah, blah. Like Iām an idiot or a child, very rude. When we did go around the opposite way from the parking lot, we found the female bartender very nice at the bar. We had the pork nachos and the pork was dry, and a chicken bacon flat bread that was just ingredients tossed on a crust, undercooked. We had blasted out at work that we were going to the Foundation, so we werenāt sure how many people would be joining us. When friends arrived, we moved to a table on the deck. A lifeless guy was then our server and was visibly annoyed that we were then joined by a few more friends. We pulled over a table and he chastised us for doing so, saying if he were someone more important, he would yell at us more, and we have to ask for a table to be moved. Fine, whatever, then he asks us if more people are coming, which we replied to that we didnāt know because itās an open invite. More people did arrive, which obviously annoyed him even more. We asked if another table could be moved over and again, so annoyed with us. It was between 4:30-5:30, there were only 11 of us, the music hadnāt even started and there were less than 20 people on the deck. He then told us if we planned to have a large group, we should call ahead, as I said, we had no idea how many people were coming. Usually a bar with less space is happy to accommodate as many people as show up. He said that the deck has reservations, so we had pretty much had it by this point and asked for the check. As he brought it to us, he finally said, there arenāt any reservations tonight, so you can stayā¦if you want. Uh, no thanks. We wonāt be arranging any happy hours...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely HORRIBLE lunch experience. We chose this business to have a birthday lunch with a valued employed and it turned out to be the worse lunch experience I've had to date.
we arrived at 12PM and surprisingly we were the only guess on the first floor. The bartender told us we can sit where we please a server will be out shortly.
We ordered a cheese steak and a salad.
01:15PM still no food and the server was no where to be seen. We asked the bartender if she knew the status on the food and all she mentioned was " I'm sorry, it'll be out shortly." Mind you a gentlemen who entered after us was already enjoying his appetizer he order well after us.
Now at this moment 20 minutes past my lunch break we asked if we can just have the food to go. The server again continue to apologize and brought us our check. We paid the bill AND STILL TIPPED her. She thanks us and told us to have a great day. We still didn't receive the food. At this point the chef came down and played the blame game and mentioned the food hasn't been out yet because the steak that was ordered with the salad was rang in as "well done" We asked for medium well. However still no food. 1:30PM the food comes out. The steak we ordered that was supposedly the reason for the wait, when received was completely cold along with the steak sandwich. We didn't get a chance to sing happy birthday not to mention....

We had a wonderful experience on a Saturday evening with a party of four + a toddler. We enjoyed diner on the big deck, then went down to the beer garden area to listen to the band playing live music.
Food and service were great. We enjoyed the beers on tap, wraps and burgers. Sweet potato fries are an option with no upcharge. They brought out the kids meal of fries and chicken tenders first, so baby would stay happy.
They seemed happy to accommodate our adorable toddler.
This is a large welcoming place that caters to a diverse crowd.
They have table service on the big deck, or you can hang out in the casual beer garden and order their food ā to goā and then carry it to the beer garden. There is a bar to buy drinks down near the beer garden , but they didnāt sell food from there; you have to walk to the main deck bar to order...
