We made a reservation for 730 tonight and when we arrived on time we were told that we would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. When we were finally seated we were by the server station. That was ok not a big issue. We waited of 10 minutes before our "server" showed up. She never stated her name..I am a server myself so big red flag. She asked our drink and app order. We have it within 5 minutes we got our app but still did not have drinks nor silverware. My husband had to flag someone down for it.
Ahi app was by far subpar. Keep in mind we had our appetizer before we had drinks and silverware. Not a good sign at all. Our female server was now where in site
When we placed our main order she seemed liked she didn't care and rushed us. Also another concern. Normally we would be asked if we would want a salad ..we were not asked because she could have cared less about us. But ok ..maybe she was having a bad night. But I also waitress and I want the most for a tip..hmm hidden key up sell. It isn't that hard to ask questions.
We finally get our food and I asked for medium rare and got med to well done prime rib and it was very fatty. And it was lukewarm. My husband got a fillet that was medium rare when it ordered it med well.
Both steaks were cold. The only thing hit on the plate was the potatoes. Not good. And our server was annoyed that she even had to come back to see if we were ok..
We will not be coming back. Other servers took care of their tables. This server actually had another table that she once again didn't give silverware to and once their food arrived had to ask for it. Hmmm not a good sign. And she also looked annoyed when she had to bring it to them. Yeah we talked to that table...it took 5 minutes for the server to even...
Read moreThey have a lot of work to do. After hearing some negative reviews from my friends, my fiance and I stopped in on a Saturday night to have a drink and some food to give them a shot. Unfortunately, we should have listened to our friends.
We ordered some margarita's, which seemed to be only sour mix with a little salt. We ordered some appetizers to munch on. The quesadilla that came out looked terrible. It looked like it was thrown in a huge pile on the plate with zero effort. I told the waitress that it looked terrible and was a mess. Her response to us was that the manager told her to take it out anyways because it would taste the same.
If the manager indeed told her to take it regardless of how it looked, We will not be coming back. I worked in the industry for years and have a hospitality degree. Even the most basic restaurant manager should know that you "eat with your eyes" first before your mouth. If they have someone in charge of this restaurant who doesn't know this, I am sure they are lacking in a lot of other things.
I was told that these were the same employees as the Cedar Crest restaurant that closed prior to this one opening. I don't know what happened in the short drive over to the new place, but apparently that drive was all down hill.
Your experience may be different, but it appears that ours fell in line with the negative ones my friends told me about. Hope they can fix things up, we won't be back.

Read moreMy family and I came in today and sat with Dalton, now let me start by saying we were having an off day very stressed and kinda frazzled but he really changed our entire day around! He was very amazing, sweet, greatest personality ever! My family and I have grown up in restaurants so we know what it's like to truly serve a table and he was great! We had a few things we weren't happy with but he made it better every time! We didn't receive bread until we asked for it and he took it upon himself to bring us 3 breads and 3 butter ((1 for each) which we ate so no food waste btw)). My little sister is a allergy to Bell Peppers and she had ordered the seasoned rice (completely forgot to ask.. our fault but they should list ingredients on the menu) when we told him he grab the plate and fixed the issue immediately and got another side for her, another way he went above and beyond is we got a blooming onion and inhaled it, we loved it so much we ordered another one although the second one we got wasn't at all up to par compared to the first one it was burnt to a crisp. We mentioned it wasnt as good as the first one and he went and had another one made for us!!! He brought out our food in a timely manner and was always checking back to make sure everything was perfect. He never seemed rushed, even when he had many more tables to tend to.
