Taste of China — Restaurant in Lower Macungie Township

I have lived in this area for over 20 years and I just recently discovered this place and all I can say is boy have I been missing out. I have ordered from here several times nowadays and I believe that I can confidently say that their food is delicious and one of the top Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. Their portions are humongous and the food without question was fresh and high quality. Some of the food I have personally tried are the following: pork fried rice, pork lo mein, orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, chicken in garlic sauce, shrimp with Chinese vegetables, gnchicken wings, wonton soup, hunan beef, general tso's beef, orange beef, spring rolls and lastly egg rolls. Every dish I just mentioned was superb and I highly recommend those dishes. The portions once again were huge and I was able to get 2 heaping meals out of the pork fried rice and pork lo mein which for someone else they would easily get 3-4 meals out of. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be that the orange sauce could be spicier in my personal taste preference but it might be considered spicy enough to others. With that all being said I highly recommend giving them a shot and you will not be disappointed...

I have been ordering food from Taste of China for several years and I must say I have never been disappointed. My favorites are sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, Hunan chicken and fried rice. The family is absolutely super friendly and I have watched their oldest boys grow up from little ones through high school and into college. During the height of the pandemic they let me go sit in my car and they brought the food out to me. What service! This is basically a takeout restaurant, but before the pandemic there were a couple of small tables. They have lunch specials until 3 p.m. and deliver in the area. This has been my go-to for Chinese takeout for years, and as far as any other place I have tried in the area, that food was basically not worth eating. if I could give them 10 stars, I would. first, we ordered a $50 order and they came out to the car and gave us our order and a 2 L for free. they had also given us a ton of extra fortune cookies. so I had went back inside and gave them a $20 tip. The donuts were so good that I had to go back in and order more for home. They told me that it was for free because we had given them such a big tip. I kept trying to insist to allow me to pay, and they would not allow me to. Then they came back out and brought the donuts out along side even more fortune cookies. Silverware, plates and cups were all provided as well. This was the best food and the best service I have ever experienced from a restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.
