The place was insanely crowded, so I gave them leeway for maybe taking a little longer, but it became ridiculous by the end of our dinner. In fact, a family of five seated some time after just 2 of us, were in and out long before we were, and we did not order extravagantly. When the waitress first asked us for our order, I got one sentence out before she said "excuse me" and disappeared. Another waitress came along in about 5 minutes. The first thing I said was that we cannot have dairy and I cannot have nuts. We were later served 2 dairy products and one was topped with nuts. We did get our appetizers in a relatively decent time, but that family of five had gotten and almost finished their entire meal before we got our entrees. We didn't get the tea we'd ordered until we were finished our meals, and it was cream laden. I reminded the waitress that we'd asked for it without cream. She apologized and brought us the correct tea right away. But it was undrinkably bitter! I never sweeten my tea, but after adding a whole packet of sugar and some water to the tiny cup, I could still barely choke any down. We were asked if we wanted any dessert. I said that we did not. However, a bowl of creamy rice pudding, topped with nuts, showed up moments later. We bussed our table to show we were ready to leave but it took quite awhile for anyone to bring us the tiniest leftover containers ever and our check. I think I tried to get someone's, anyone's, attention to take my money for about 10 minutes! I finally was able to grab a guy bustling by, who seemed very confused as to why I was so desperate to pay. It felt like an eternity before we got finally got out of there. The food itself was good. Not amazing. But good. All in all, I'll not ever go there again or recommend it as my overall experience had me more angry than...
Read moreAwful lunch buffet. Visited Thursday 2/9 around 1pm. There was a pleasant aroma as you entered the dimly lit dinning room. This was the highlight of the experience. One gentleman ushered us to sit directly in front of the buffet (passing many open tables). Another gentleman pulled our chairs out slightly and removed our napkins from our drink glasses, placing the napkin on the table. A 3rd man filled our glasses with water. They lingered for a few awkward moments in silence. Not 1 of these employees spoke to us. Which wouldn't have been a big deal if we had been there before. So we looked around and figured the buffet was the only lunch option & that we should get up & help ourselves. There were scraps of salad & fruit in thier designated areas that were not refilled during our 15-20 minute lunch. The food looked ok. More school lunch line than $17 buffet. Most meats I tried were over cooked, chewy messes aggravated by the fact that they were luke warm. The rice cold and dry. 2 dessert options available (didn't try after the poor resuls of the meal). Left hungry after 1 small plate. This was definitely a never again for me. Plenty of other options in the area with better food at this...
Read moreIndian Garden in Yardley is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and beautifully decorated interiors that set the perfect tone for a cozy dining experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed.
The food was simply outstanding. We started with the samosas, which were crispy and perfectly spiced, followed by a rich and flavorful butter chicken that melted in our mouths. The naan was fresh and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the delicious curries. Every dish we tried, from the paneer tikka masala to the biryani, was packed with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection. You can tell the chefs at Indian Garden truly take pride in their craft.
What sets Indian Garden apart is the balance they strike between traditional Indian cuisine and modern presentation. The portions were generous, but not overwhelming, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received.
Whether you’re a fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, Indian Garden is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be...
