Villa Rosa Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Lower Makefield Township

For an Italian Pizzeria that is constantly busy in Yardley, the food isn't that great. I sometimes ask myself why do people constantly hand this place their money. The flavor isn't unique or memorable of any of the dishes. The menu is rather limited and basic. There are several other Pizzeria choices within the area that are cheaper and more enjoyable. The pick up ordering is a joke and there's no proper line to know who is next. I had called in to order a Turkey Club but in a wrap and replace the French fries with broccoli. I picked up my order, drove home, and opened up the wrap made with chicken and broccoli and French fries. So I had went back to explain the order. They remade the order, with no apology. They tried to tell me I was in the wrong. They made me a new wrap. I get home and low and behold, I have turkey with bacon and broccoli with French fries on the side. It was truly unbelievable. I'm stuck in shock as I write this at how ignorant this place can be. I should have rated them a one star but I try and support my local family owned business but this place has become an absolute disgrace to the locals. At one point in time this place had originality, back when they had extra large cheese steaks and friendly staff. I would not recommend this to restaurant to anyone and would suggest going to any other eatery in the area other...

This restaurant is FILTHY, which is bad enough, but the worst part is that the owner doesn’t care.

I went in this afternoon with my sons for an early dinner. There was literally not a soul in the restaurant except for the manager and a handful of employees. We ordered and went to sit in the section reserved for quick service only to find EVERY table dirty. I went over to the counter and asked them to please wipe down the table. The manager gruffly told me to move to another table. I told him that ALL of the tables were dirty. The placemats has been used at each table and there crumbs and grease on every single table. He said something unintelligible, which I assumed was about his intention to come wipe off the table in short order.

In fact, the boys’ food came out, they ate it and he never came over to clean the tables. A female server walked in so I asked to speak with the manager. She pointed to the man who had already ignored my request. She asked what the problem was so I told her. She went over to tell the manager that the tables were dirty. He shrugged and said “Its self-Service over there,” as of the customers are responsible for cleaning the tables.

It wasn’t our first time there but it will surely be the last. If they willingly tolerate dirt in the dining room, I can only imagine what they tolerate in...

I don’t often do reviews, but after many decades and hundreds of meals, I can say without hesitation the food is great! From a good cook and picky eater, this place is a little gem. People come from all over for their pizza, so if you ever get a bad slice, something may have gone wrong at that moment, hey it happens at the best places! But as a neighbor who has ordered from here so many times, picked up platters to bring to parties, etc., and eaten here for decades, the food is consistently hot, seasoned, generous, and delicious! Very fantastic pizza, sandwiches, and great dinners. The garlic knots are MUAH! We order out for our “girls luncheon” all the time and everyone loves it! Delicious and reliable. I would encourage anyone to pause before leaving bad reviews. Everyone can have an off day, the Restaurant business is so tough, even more so these days. Give them a break and let them try to make it right before you leave a bad review. It can really impact a small business and they have it hard enough now. I love VillaRosa!
