A friend of mine recommended this place since he got a complete and some stuff for his son. I then called in to ask about help repairing or getting new parts for my friend's Cruiser skateboard and other stuff. The man who answered the phone sounded very optimistic and appeared helpful so I made the half-hour drive there 2 weeks later to check it out and brought the boards. I'm a busy dad with two boys and not much free time to carve out on weekends so I was pretty stoked to finally make it out there. The moment I open the door, even before I walk in, a man looks at me and my boards, with my son in tow, and tells me they "don't work on longboards" without even saying hello or asking what I needed and turned me away, as if I was inconveniencing him. Very disappointed at the lack of courtesy or even interest. I also wanted to buy some Vans even if they couldn't help me with the boards but after this experience, I advise anyone with a shred of self-respect to avoid this place. Very rude....
Read moreHonestly I’m not quite sure how this shop is still in business, I’m all for supporting local shops and small businesses but the amount of times I’ve driven the hour to come here only to find that the item I found on the online store wasn’t actually available or that the shop wasn’t even open when advertised they were is more than enough for me to take business elsewhere. Not to mention the extreme price markups on decks, shoes, wheels and anything else you can think of. $90 for a basic antihero deck alone or $60 for a set of spitfire wheels is insane. If you want to overpay for a pair of Vans this is your place but if you want any other brand of shoes go somewhere else because you won’t find them here. You’ll get better variety, prices and availability from the zumiez in oxford valley mall...
Read moreif you're going to get a skateboard, whether you're a new skateboarder or a total veteran, you have to go here to get it all done. get some parts, or a new board, and even a new complete for a great price. the choices for boards, trucks, wheels, etc. is incredible, and the shop owner is really helpful and the whole process is just smooth and easy. if you already have a board, you can still pop by to get a sweet shirt, hoodie, t-shirt, hat, shoes, and really anything you need. the community and vibe in there is just great, and they're always playing some skate videos while you wait. just went in there to get my first board, and the owner Rich was super helpful along the whole process. i...
