If I could've given this zero stars, I would have, this is quite possibly the worst experience at a McDonald's in years, maybe decades...
My mobile order: a hot chocolate, an unsweet iced tea, and a fudge sundae.
I arrive, drive thru backed up, so I walk in trying to get my phone to recognize that I'm in the store and can actually place the order. The staffer there asks me if I'm taking photos of them, but I'm trying to get my phone to place the order. It finally does after a few more shakes.
Then... a wait. 5-6 min stretches longer... and then the cashier comes over to me with the manager. They say, my hot chocolate - no go. Machine is out for 20min for a cleaning cycle, do I want to wait? Uh - no. Can you refund that or cancel the order? Not able to do that with a mobile order... so... what's my choice? Get a shake, slushie or soda. Not exactly what I was looking for - needed a hot drink for my kid, and none of those were a great choice. Given no refund, though, opted for the cherry slushie, which they gave me... and... nothing else. I waited another 10min and the cashier noticed I was still standing there and asked me... what else? I told him I had an iced tea and sundae. I see the manager helping out and working orders ... my order has been up there a while, and orders of others that came in were already filled ahead of it. Perhaps forgotten? The line of people waiting inside for orders has grown longer, too. The staffer gets the slip from the manager and gives me my fudge sundae and an iced tea that's apparently been waiting by the drive-thru for a while. Then three cups on the counter for my order finally...and no cup holder to carry them out in? I have to ask for one, they don't have any upfront, so another minute or two as they run back to the storage space to get one for me.
To add insult to injury - when I get back to the car, the lid on the sundae is leaking all over, so have to clean that up, and the iced tea tastes like coffee. Which is not what I like at all - I've had a lot of unsweet tea at McD's, it's not the best unsweet tea, but it's usually tea. I don't know why there was coffee flavor here, mixed water or something, but... I'm thoroughly...
Read moreLet me preface this by saying, I never take the time to leave any review. I can now say with no doubt, in all my years and all my travels around the world , that this might be the consistently worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Over the past 6 years that we have lived in this area, this McDonald’s has the worst customer service. The people working there have no business serving the public. They have been indifferent, rude and just plain incompetent. They have a 100% failure rate when it comes to getting the order filled correctly requiring me to either wait in line again or drive back 20 min for a $5 sandwich. I have repeatedly said I would never come back to this location but, my children asked and I had a moment of weakness. Firstly, the app kept saying “order processing” which forced me to go inside. The kiosk then took the order and asked for a number where I was waiting. There was no numbered location. Admittedly the woman serving me was somewhat polite and offered to take my order. They of course, did not have the sauce that I wanted which was not a big deal but, it in line with the rest of our experience. I waited 25 min to receive 20 chicken nuggets, fillet-o-fish and Big Mac. No apology or explanation for the wait. I just blurted out, “you guys have speed things up”. I grabbed my order, went home and with absolute consistency, I found my Crispy Chicken Sandwich missing when I got home. My wife drove back to pick up the sandwich and they gave her a McChicken instead. They are consistently incompetent and lack any customer service skills. You should avoid this location. Drive a few minutes further to any other location. I have given them multiple opportunities and each time...
Read moreThis McDonald's has the worst service out of all of the others I have been to. The first time, I walked in & since it's been years since I've physically been inside of a McDonald's, I had no idea what to do. There were no people in the front, just a computer. No one to greet me or assist me. When I did get help from the back, I was told to use the computer to order. Then yesterday I went back again but I can guarantee it will be my last visit there. 2 people were behind the counter - one was the manager. No greeting, no one even acknowledged my presence. The worker was looking at his phone the entire time I was there, and the manager was having a personal conversation on hers so loudly that the whole restaurant was privy to her business. It was very rude & and disruptive, to say the least. There was another worker in the back just pacing around. Another customer came in & ordered. There were 4 bags of food on the line to be given to customers, but no one bothered getting off their phones to notice. The worker realized he should have been doing something and actually said out loud, "Oh damn, I forgot I'm at work," I asked to my food, I needed to get back to work I was now late & told him so & that I wouldn't have been had he not been on his phone. The worker gave me an attitude & told me to mind my own business. I told him that getting what I ordered & leaving was my business, and I left. During none of this did the manager see fit to get off her personal call. I'll go get pizza for my break from work next time. And to think this probably what they do for most of their shifts making what? $15 an...
