Thank you for ruining our New Year's holiday. We had family come from NJ and decided to bring them here. We have been coming to this location for 3 yrs but over the past year this place has been heading in the wrong direction. This was our final visit. My family was truly looking forward to eating here and we were equally excited to share this place with the rest of our family. We ran into a friend who warned us the food took almost an hour to come out, but we ignored it thinking it could've just been an oversight with the kitchen since there were only 10-12 tables occupied and 4 servers, no sign of being too busy. We sat down, and soon after the red flags began. Our server started off with not knowing substitutions and alternatives to the menu as we had a younger child with us. At one point, the conversation became so painful to listen to, my wife questioned the server's experience. The server's response was unprofessional which prompted my wife to respond in equal manner. The only thing the server got right was quietly apologizing to my wife, which my wife did in return. We hoped for a fresh start to the rest of our evening but it was anything but that. The kitchen is incompetent and the different areas of preparation and cooking are not in sync. We placed our orders at 630pm and they were not being prepared until 730pm. We were informed one dinner, a pasta dish, was ready along with sweet potato fries for a different member of our party, but the rest was just starting to be cooked. They asked if we wanted it served....what do they expect one person to eat while we watch them just so they can sit and wait an hour later for the rest of us to finish once we are served? And what, do you just serve the fries, let them fill up on that and be full for the rest of their $45 meal? We rejected it and asked to wait. Do you realize they expected that meal to sit for 45 minutes and to be reheated when the rest of our order was ready? I actually had to demand a new meal be made and served when the rest of our food would come. They next bring out our seafood only to inform us they ran out of pasta and we would have to wait 20 minutes for it to be made. The seafood that did come out was cold. My wife had to send hers back, I let mine stay at the table to avoid any further delays expecting pasta to be out shortly. Other members of our party were tired of waiting as we were already 2 hours into our wait and had a little boy to feed who was complaining about being hungry. They ran out of garlic bread entirely so we had nothing to hold him over. They were forced to eat cold food. They then serve my wife her plate 15 minutes later for it to be the same plate, still cold. My daughter then discovers her plate was missing scallops. I complain only to find out they are out of scallops and no one informed us. I asked the manager outside to complain privately away from the rest of the customers out of respect. I return to find out the one member of our party still hadn't received their replacement pasta dish for the one that was sitting for 45 minutes from the beginning of this ordeal. My wife receives her 3rd attempt only to have the shrimp missing from her order. The server warned us how the manager focuses on take out orders, so the pastas, scallops, garlic bread are being set aside for those orders. An additional 30 minutes pass and I had still not received my pasta, my wife and family were ready to just leave after nearly 2 and a half hours wasted. No offer of apology, the only talk of discount was brought up by me, my respect for the manager was gone. As we left I told the manager to focus on the kitchen, anyone else can take phone orders. He chose to dismiss me rudely so I told him to go F himself. He retaliated verbally in equal manner. I was wrong in my actions so I ignored him, ending it, only for him to follow me and confront me outside, and had children not been present, he would've been laid out on the concrete. Eddie Zhang just lost a long time customer and I could care less of the opinion about...
Read moreWe have been to the Easton location a handful of times now, and each time has been worth the money specht. The first time we went we unfortunately over ordered because we did not know the sizing of the weights of seafood. Our waitress was amazing at explaining the serving sizes but until you see what you get it's a bit difficult. But it doesn't matter because the food heats up perfectly at home. Most of the restaurants in the area that specialize in their food type, be it burgers, steaks, chicken wings,a diner, pizza or whatever it may be are very hit-or-miss. This is the only restaurant they're each visit has been consistent. The service is amazing. Our first waitress was Candice who is by far one of the best servers we have had in any establishment while in Pennsylvania. We always ask for her if she is on schedule. If she is not working we have had another server name Xavier who is equally helpful and pays attention to detail. The atmosphere is great, multiple televisions throughout the restaurant if you need to be entertained or distracted. There is plenty of seating. They can easily accommodate large parties but very rarely does the volume get too loud if you are just having intimate dinner between two people. As great as this place is there are only two negatives I can come up with. Being a seafood restaurant there are few options for toddlers. And last is of course the prices. Unfortunately seafood is expensive on its own. You have to expect to pay anywhere between 30 to $50 per person depending on how hungry you are. But unlike other establishments at least the money you are putting out is worth the food you are getting. They do have other locations that we have not tried yet, but I fully recommend the Easton location...
Read moreWas here for my pre mothers day dinner and the service was not the best but the food was pretty good. We just felt completely ignored. The waiter was hardly ever around. There were 2 large table tops she had after we were seated that came after us and left before us. They were served before us after ordering after us. The waiter was gone for 45 minutes at a time. It kind of ruined the experience. I had two overactive babies/toddlers with me and they gave all the other children crayons to play with but not mine when I asked they finally did. I had to ask for high chairs too after I told them that I had 2 babies. They bought them after waiting a few minutes then standing and sitting holding the babies. The lobster was very good and the snow Crab was EXCELLENT. The bread was oily. It looks like they use olive oil instead of butter. The shrimp and crawfish could've been better. I was a little disappointed by that. I think that If they would've used the same seasoning as the snow crabs and lobster it would've been better but I don't think they do. The cheese cake was EXCELLENT so was the corn on the cob. The chicken tenders and fries were well seasoned, juicy, crispy and large in size. It took us over 3hrs for this meal because of the service and we were sat immediatly upon arrival. She tried to be nice and we left a decent tip but Im not sure well be back. Maybe something to-go. Overall we just felt ignored and they weren't that busy when we arrived. When we left it looked like service was...
