I love Hobby Lobby and I love how it is Christian store. I have always had good experience except today. I went in to share about a purchase I made over a year ago. Yes it is longer than return policy, but I shop ahead for deals for Christmas and birthdays. I purchased a drone in the clearance section and was so excited to give it to my son for Christmas, but when he opened the box (which was tape such when I purchased it) it only had a remote control. I explained this to the lady and she got her manager. The manager did nothing and said nothing I can do and walked away without having the courtesy to even look at me or acknowledge the problem even though she was standing right in front of me. She walked over to her manager, but both managers had a lack of acknowledgement and didn't explain or even speak to me. Then the lady who checked me out just said we can't do anything and I wouldn't shop in our clearance section. I asked her to throw away the remote control and the box and she said she can't throw it away.
So this was upsetting more so because their customer service was very poor. The managers acted very immature. The other upsetting part is taping up a box without all the parts in clearance and not stating a part(the main part!) is mossing on the box. It is deceptive. - for a Christian organization this is sad. Also a worker shouldn't be telling their customers to not shop in clearance, there is a problem if workers are sharing that the don't "trust" the clearance section.
I hope these managers get trained to acknowledge their customers appropriately and for other customers to be careful...
Read moreIf i could give a zero star review, i would. I have shopped at Hobby Lobby for years and never had a problem till 10/14/2024. My sister-in-law and i came in to return some pillars and other items we did not end up using for a party. When we got to the register, AUDREY clearly already had an attitude. We gave her the receipt and she immediately started hounding us about where the tags for the pillars were. We calmly told her they fell off but that we knew they were on sale. I had told her i could go grab a pillar since we 100% had bought it at the same location. She cut me off and said in a rude tone "I kNoW ThErE fRoM hErE". I was disgusted by the way she spoke to me. Another worker got involved to help find the prices, which were simply in a binder under her station. She proceeded to return just the pillars on the receipt and tried to hand it back. We told her everything is on the same receipt and she began mumbling things under her breath. We got everything returned and just left. As a frequent shopper at Hobby Lobby i was truly upset with how we were treated. From the jump, she had an attitude and was treating us poorly. She def. needs to be spoken to on how to speak...
Read moreI just wanna say that a year or two ago that this hobby lobby was a great store ! The employees looked happy and great service but now .. it’s sad because all the employees are walking around looking depressed and it no wonder why because I witnessed a store managers two women bully their employees! You can hear whenever an employee is getting chewed out in their office and they pick on their employees something really should be done about this because if I was the employees and putting up with this I would be going to corporate! No mangers store or other wise should ever berate or bully their employees and you have one who looks about in her 70s with short blonde hair bullying the employees the Most specially the cashiers! I witnessed this manger bully this young girl about a return that the girl was trying to say was a scam and then heard her get chewed out by the store mangers saying that the poor girl was rude when all she was doing was standing there! This place should be looked into...
