I have to vent about a restaurant for a little because unfortunately they do have amazing food. My niece called during the week for LongHorn in Palmer township for Saturday night She let them know that she was going to have about 24 people. She asked if they would be able to host it. They told her absolutely. We love big parties like that. Just give us a call at 3:00 p.m. Saturday And arrive at 6:00 p.m for a 6:30 reservation. We will have the tables ready it was packed beyond packed they still assured My niece they would be okay. They just wanted us to wait for all her guests to arrive which we were all there already but 640 maybe 645 at the latest It wouldn't matter if the guests arrived at 9:00. They still wouldn't have had seats for us smh It was now 7:00 p.m. My niece had been there for an hour already. Waiting for a table. They told my niece the waitress gave her tables away to a party of 15. We couldn't understand why so they said give it some time and they'll clear everybody out. It was now 8:00 p.m. not only were the kids a mess but the adults were aggravated as well. My nephew who is two is non-verbal and they're waiting for a diagnosis. Whether it's autism or whatever he started to scream and cry. The waitress rudely said. Oh my god I don't understand why she can't control her son. My sister lost it. Of course she went outside to cool off I asked to speak to the manager and he said how is it his job to know if a child is autistic or non-verbal or how is it his problem he should be handled regardless and then I confronted him about the table situation and he said she should have known better to call here and try to bring all those people here and that's why they gave the tables away He simply didn't want to seat us He was arrogant, ignorant, disgusting, rude. I would never ever eat there or recommend someone going there again I made the entire party get up and leave I said the saddest part in the world is is that someone made you a leader. Someone gave you the authority to run a restaurant and teach all these people to have great customer service skills and I can see why they had none Not only was, his waitress crying because they couldn't handle the crowd, but his rude lack of intelligence made everything worse I Will have to say that I called Buffalo wild wings and told them the situation. He said come over they had everything set up. The waitress was great. It was smooth as could be. It put a happy ending to a horrible start šššš. My niece spent the night in tears I can't blame her smh horrible...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI come here pretty often, and the service has always been on point. I only had one incident where the manager got involved with a messed up order, and they didn't skip a beat with taking care of it. Now let me say also... I worked at TGI Friday's for 5 years, my best friend has been a restaurant manager for over 10 years and My girlfriend has been a server for 7 years so we are well aware what restaurants have to deal with when it comes to angry customers. We are not the type to try to make someone's day miserable just because my steak is undercooked. .... I came in this past Friday night after watching Pacific rim at regal cinema with my girlfriend. We got there around 9:15 pm, and luckily it wasn't that busy at all. There were about 6 - 8 tables sat in the restaurant including us and the majority of them either had their bill, or they were enjoying their meal. Our server introduces himself to us and takes our drink orders, then comes back to take care of our food order. It was going smooth till 20 minutes after our server took our order, he comes back to our table telling us he has lost our order. We had to tell him what we wanted again. So it's roughly been 30 minutes and the only thing I've had is some bread with butter and my drink. He rushed our salads out to us. At this point there are 2 other tables left and they finished eating. So there is no other ticket in the kitchen besides the our order. Our food took 30 minutes to come out... Our order was a medium rare steak, and a chicken breast. Our server is sitting at a table talking to his friends, and we don't do this but we requested to see the manager. And SURPRISINGLY our food had been dropped off at our table just after we made the request. The manager came over and we explained to him how we have been there for an hour, and we finally got our order. we are now literally the only table left in the restaurant. Our server lost our order and waited 20 minutes to retake our order and he didn't even try to rush the order out the window. The manager (Joe ) apologized to us and said there is nothing he can do but maybe give us a free desert... so basically he is willing to loose 2 long term customers instead of comping off 1 steak and 1 chicken breast order. Well Joe... you lost 2 customers buddy. I'll go to Texas roadhouse from now on. Thier steaks are better ad their customer service is alot better too. Anyone that reads this and your hungry.... head over to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was there with my family on a Friday and it was very busy. The waitress was very friendly and brought our orders out correctly, for the most part. We ordered a rather costly and big meal for the four of us. We started off with some chicken wings and fried pickles. The fried pickles were amazing but the wings were undercooked. They were sent back and we received the wings back cooked almost properly with them taken off our bill. Then, we ordered another appetizer with cheese and mushrooms which were very satisfying and tasty. When we received our meal, right off the bat we were given the wrong sides so, we were allowed to keep them and the waitress brought us, with no extra charge, what was originally ordered. We were given rice on accident, and I have to say this because the rice tasted like corn. Like it was made in a pot that had water in it to cook corn previously. I ordered prime rib with mashed potatoes and a salad. The salad was great and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was mouth watering. The prime rib was tender, juicy and well done until about the middle when there was blood dripping out of it. That was sent back too. The mashed potatoes were good along with the au ju sauce. One of the other steaks were raw in spots as well but not sent back because we already sent two dishes back and were a bit afraid to at that point. Yes, all the mistakes were fixed except one that they weren't arrive of and we received some free food along with free dessert but it doesn't make up for the chance of getting some sort of food poisoning. Next time, no matter where I go, I will be checking my children's and my food before I even take a bite. I will never visit another LongHorn...
