Panera Bread — Restaurant in Lower Nazareth Township

Took my child here for lunch today on our way home we had a gift card. We put our order in on my app and I customize my sandwich so there was no onions on it. When I got to check out on the app it was a few dollars to much . So it let me change my sandwich from a whole to a half so I did so it would be low enough to use the giftcard. I didn’t realize it undid my customization I did to my sandwich switching the size. We went in to get our food and have our lunch there. When we were called up I noticed there was onion on my sandwich I told the women behind the counter calmly “my sandwich has onion on it I ordered it with out onions” she looked at me and looks at my receipt and says “your receipt doesn’t say that”. I told her calmly I ordered it off my app with no onions. She blew me off and started to argue with the customer next to me who’s salad wasn’t made correctly so I asked for my bottle of tea I ordered and the other girl says we don’t have bottled tea here only green tea told her calmly that what I ordered the bottle of green tea she brought me a bottle and the whole top of it was frozen sold, I couldn’t drink it. My child and I took our food and walked away. And my child asked me why there was onions on my sandwich as we walked away and I said to my child because they didnt make it correctly. We went and sat down and I pulled up my app to make sure it went through correctly and saw it changed my order without me knowing. I was getting up to go apologize so saying something about it but then I heard the women that was at the food counter trash talking me to the other employees loud enough the whole restaurant could hear her. I had enough of me being trashed talked and told her I can hear you and I did do my order correct but the app changed it without me knowing. Next thing I know she’s calling my last name again up to the counter now the manger is back there with them hearing everything. She had a half of sandwich made and very nasty said did you take the other sandwich that was made wrong . I said yes I did cause you blew me off I didnt know if I was getting a new one or not and I can hear you trash talking me and that’s very unprofessional towards a customer. She looks at me and says ok. I took the sand watch and walked back to the table with my child. My child asked me to try her smoothy so I did and it tasted really sour it was a strawberry so it got thrown away. We left and I called the store and asked for the manger and told him everything and he said he was sorry and I should have gotten him that he knew who I was talking about but then told me he was working on the food line and heard a little bit of what was going on but didn’t know everything. He told me he was going to address this. But hears my question if he was the manger and heard some of it then why didn’t he come to me to make sure everything was ok and address the issue with his employee right then and there if he heard and saw some of it on his own then why would I have to come and get him in the first place? My child and I threw the other half of the sandwich away because of how she was treating us we were worried she might have done something to the sandwich. We have gone to this Panera bread many time and never had a bad experience. But this was horrible. I was completely humiliated infront of everyone and my child by this employee. The manger did nothing while he was present and then tried to put it on me for not getting him when I called. We will not be back to this Panera bread. I wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone if you want to be treated with respect and have a nice lunch with your friends or family...

Came through the drive through at 8 with no response. Went in and front counter girl didn't even know when the store closed and was too busy on her phone. Ordered 2 Mac and cheese and waited as staff used inappropriate language and complained about the 2 orders of Mac and cheese for my son. While waiting another customer came in with the same issue at the drive through and was told it closes at 8 while the store is open until 9. He also orders 2 Mac and cheese, charged, and then told they're all out of Mac and cheese. I ask if they have enough for mine and they said yes. While waiting I hear one employee say "this Mac and cheese is mad old" however it was in a pouch. Then they made up 3 more pouches for my 12 year old sons food. His food was barely thawed and I wouldn't let him eat it. The atmosphere was also very dirty and unkempt. Trash cans overflowing and the mop water of recent mop job smelled like toilet water. One employee went to get the manager during this time and not once did I see the manager come out. I would have went back to complain, however, we are passing through back to NY and already hit the highway. Panera should fire all these employees and start fresh. Worst panera experience I have ever had. I will also be submitting my concerns to the health department. $22 dollars for Mac and cheese and it's...

I don’t frequent this Panera (or really Panera in general) very often but of the small amount of times I’ve gone to this one, it tends to really screw up orders. Of my four visits, they’ve screwed up about three times, which is a pretty bad track record.

The first was ordering one single bagel while waiting for a friend. I asked for a sesame toasted and with cinnamon cream cheese. And not only did they not toast it, they didn’t give me cream cheese at all.

The second time I ordered a bag of one and a half dozen bagels that came with cream cheese. And they messed up the number of bagels by 3 and gave me the wrong type of cream cheese.

And my most recent visit, I ordered a Bakers Dozen and they only gave me 11. (Maybe I should order something other than the bagels lol)

In general too, their coffee is always mildly hot/lukewarm which is disappointing.

On the plus side, there are other Paneras in the area that do a much better job of getting orders accurate and keeping things fresh/hot. But personally since I don’t really frequent Panera often, I don’t feel like making that drive.

Though if you are in that shopping area, I would recommend just using the Wawa down the street, Starbucks inside Target, or Dunkin inside Wal-mart. As none of those places ever screwed up as much...
